This Post Office has the worst service of any I have been in on Long Island. Always long lines due to one person being up front while the people in the back are clowning around. I hope and pray this one closes down and consolidates with the one in Glen Head. Much better service and the people are friendlier. I find it hard to believe the money these people make, the benefits they get as well as retirement. I get better service at a White Castle, and believe me… that is NOT A COMPLIMENT

Post Office.
I usually do not have much need for the Post Office — most of my stuff is done online these days, but once in a while I still require something to be mailed.
The Glen Cove Post office, like all post offices, offers a variety of shipping services, stamps and they also have a passport processing office at this location.
The entry way is really cool– old school from way back in the day — there is no other way to describe it other than to see it.
The clerks were super helpful and the line seemed to move right along — unlike some other post office locations where you can spend an eternity…
Parking is somewhat limited in front– you have to park in the lots behind and walk around the place.
