Business Owner

I love to be on the water and love to see people have fun, that was my motivation to start the business. I’m originally from Austin, TX which is surrounded by lakes and is a fantastic place to paddleboard. My volunteer experience heading the Sea Cliff Beach committee and a couple of summers assisting at the town beach brought me to the conclusion that my area NEEDED a place to rent kayaks and similar equipment.

Through other friends that love the water, I found a great space at the marina and set up shop. Shore Thing Rentals delivers kayaks and Stand Up Paddleboards to local beaches. We have a lot of group outings and lessons for those that are trying something new. Additionally, I’m a certified 200 hour yoga teacher, and my favorite thing is to be out on my paddleboard doing yoga at sunset! Weather permitting, a SUP yoga class is usually scheduled for Tuesday evenings.
