I am an ASE certified master mechanic with additional certifications in advanced engine performance and light truck diesel repair. I have over 30 years experience working on all vehicle makes and models. My goal is to run an automotive repair shop with honesty and integrety. I have owned Wells Automotive along with my wife Kathy since 1998. Together with my daughter Katie, we have run a very sucessful business.

I’ve tried this place as well as two other places for some car repairs and Wells by far is the best in terms of service and honesty. They actually told me a few times on ways to save money on my repairs which I really appreciate. I’d recommend.

I can’t say enough good things about Wells Automotive! I’ve got 109,000 miles on my SUV and I plan to drive it till the wheels fall off and it looks like that will be a looooong time thanks to Wells Automotive! I brought my Saturn Vue in for an oil change and got a couple of estimates for work that will probably need to be done in the spring. How nice it is to not be caught by surprise when something breaks down — to know ahead of time that this is coming up and approximately what it will cost so I can budget for those repairs. Awesome!!! I have recommended Wells to everyone I know and now if you are reading this I am recommending them to you too!

Wells has been taking care of my 2003 Envoy for 4 years now. I will NEVER take my car to anyone else. At one point we were getting the car serviced to a road trip to FL. My husband said that he thought the bushings needed to be replaced. When we picked up our car they didn’t replace the busgings… because it wasn’t needed. They could have easily replaced them and we never would have questioned it.
Integrity and customer service is what they’re about. They just replaced the transmission on my 10 year old car because they said the rest of the car was sound and tight.
What a pleasure to deal with every single associate and mechanic at Wells…

My parents and I have been taking our vehicles here for 10+ years and have found them to be an honest and reliable shop that has always had the vehicle repaired in the time estimated.
Even as I’ve come into to doing most of the repairs to my vehicles over the years, I know that I can take my vehicle here for a diagnosis of the problem (s), and when I take my vehicle here for an oil change they will let me know any other problems they find, as an honest mechanic should.
In short, I’ve found that this is the fabled «honest mechanic» that is difficult to find these days. I’ve tried other shops that are closer to where I live, and always find myself coming back to Wells.
And no, I’m not paid by them, or have any personal relationship with them in any way. I just felt I should write this review in appreciation for them after I got my vehicle damaged twice in a row getting my oil changed at a place that was more convenient. And to boot I found out about the damage to my vehicle done by the other place (cross threaded lug nut when rotating tires) when I brought it into Wells to diagnose a problem.
