HP Racing was Founded in 1994 by Jason Grubb, an automotive enthusiast who began messing with cars in his parents driveway at the age of 16. His First location was in Annapolis behind a Honda Dealership, where he reconditioned used cars, and added parts & accessories to them. Later that year he moved the small operation to Glen Burnie MD, where he rented another small building, but now he was in the center of all of the Dealerships and Cars, and he continued to grow the business by adding two employees to the payroll, and more customers to the clientele.

Later that year he moved the small operation to Glen Burnie MD, where he rented another small building, but now he was in the center of all of the Dealerships and Cars, and he continued to grow the business by adding two employees to the payroll, and more customers to the clientelle.
He was only in that Building for about 8 months when a building on Crain highway became available, this was great, because the location put his company right on the highway, and the building was more retail oriented. This is when business really started to take off, and he expanded the list of Services that they Provided to his customers. Also he stocked import performance parts, which, at that time were hardly heard of. In
