I have always been very pleased with the subs that I order. The service is great and super fast! They have a very nice selection. I usually get turkey with sprouts. Good stuff

I’ve eaten Jimmy John’s for ages, but lately my family has started ordering delivery from this location to our house. Freaky Fast is right! I am always impressed how fast I can get tasty sandwiches(and a fountain soda!) delivered to my home. Their website is great for ordering, even for large groups, and works well on mobile also. I especially like how you can customize a sandwich and put the person’s name on it. Nice touch! Most all sandwiches I’ve had there are good, but I think the Vito is the best. The JJ Gargantuan is huge and can satisfy the largest appetite.

I got to a point where I got tired of Jimmy John’s, but the sandwiches are pretty good. I always get a sandwich with roast beef. However the food is pretty good here.

If you’re short on time and want to pick up something quick, then this is your place. There may be a line but your sub is made accurately and correctly. The location is convenient to other stores if you want to grab something to eat before or after shopping or running errands.

Jimmy Johns has recovered from their massive class action lawsuit regarding the omission of sprouts on the tuna sub,(I am not kidding you, look it up. Lol) and shines among sandwich shops. The totally tuna is awesome with the sprouts. So is the chicken salad, the roast beef, and their version of the loaded sub. It really is freaky fast. :)

Back where I grew up, Subway had somewhat of a sub monopoly. As such, I’ve never had the opportunity to try a Jimmy John’s before. –Food: I had a Club Lulu, which is a large sub with Turkey breast, bacon, lettuce, tomato & mayo. My fiancée had a Slim Turkey, which is essentially just turkey and bread. First, my sub was pretty good. The ingredients tasted pretty fresh, although the bread was slightly firm. I’m not saying it was stale, but it wasn’t as soft as I’d have hoped. The turkey was pretty good and bacon is always tasty. Would I order it again? Yeah. My fiancée loved her Slim Turkey sub, which is especially note worthy as she is often passes on places like this. Worth noting, from time to time I like to check the nutrition facts for certain places. Checking the nutrition online confirmed that it is a bit higher in sodium than Subway, and oddly enough it is in the bread. The meal doesn’t taste overly salty, but if I’m going to splurge on my sodium for the day, I’d rather have pizza or a burger instead of mediocre bread. –Cost: I don’t recall exactly the price, but I feel that it was around $ 12 for the two of our subs. Seems reasonable. –Atmosphere: Pretty average interior in the plaza alongside Trader Joe’s. Ample parking. –Service: The cashier and the employees seemed pretty nice. Subs were prepped and made very quickly. –Overall: Jimmy John’s is pretty good. It’s not the best sub I’ve ever had, but it’s not the worst. I hear that they deliver hella’ fast, so that’s something I’ll consider in the future. We’ll eat here again, and I’m actually really glad that they have something my fiancée enjoys. Haven’t tried Jimmy John’s? Give it a try!

Gourmet is so over used and Jimmy John’s ain’t gourmet. I do like that they slice their own meat and cheese but the subs just aren’t all that good. Their not bad but just nothing special and far from what they claim to be.

There is a lot that could be said about jimmy johns. however I’ll just tell you that there is no cheese selection, no condiment selection, one type of plain bread, and no salt. How do you call yourself gourmet? Save your taste buds. there’s a jersey mikes nearby and a padows ham and deli where you can have some of the finest sandwiches in Richmond.

So I guess this is more of a ‘pay it forward’ kind of review. Not that Jimmy Johns doesn’t have some great sandwiches, but I think it’s also important to review an establishment that does something that is just simply… nice. I placed an order today and my corporate card wasn’t going through. I was caught up in a meeting and missed calls from Jimmy Johns and the driver who was delivering the food. When I finally got to the reception area the driver had been waiting for at least 10 minutes(which is a big deal when they have 10OTHER stops to make). He quickly told me not to worry about the bill and told me that the manager(Chris I think is his name) took care of everything. I called Jimmy Johns to pay over the phone but the manager refused to accept payment… he said that Snagajob has ordered so much from Jimmy Johns over the years, that he felt I should have the meal. He simply would not let me pay a dime… instead he wished me a happy holidays and not to worry about it. It’s a rarity(especially in the food industry) to give something to a customer for nothing. Perhaps he did it because we are such loyal customers… OR…maybe it truly was in the spirit of the holidays. Whatever the reason it’s so refreshing to know that there are still eating establishments that want to do a nice things for their customers. Whatever the reason, I applaude you guys for this act of kindness… very thoughtful and much appreciated… :)

Worst service at a Jimmy Johns ever. The staff was rude and more concerned with chatting versus customer service.

This was a VERY hard decision for me to drop Jimmy John’s down from a 5STAR to a 3STAR… It is not personal against anyone who works in Jimmy John’s, as they are really great guys and they STILL make a great sandwich. However, their Policy has changed in how you eat at Jimmy John’s which is a REAL disappointment to me. I waited several days before writing this as I did not want to write anything after my LAST experience in Jimmy John’s. I was looking forward to having a great sandwich in Jimmy John’s last week, and when they finished the making of the sandwich, I asked for the«SALT». The Manager said they NO longer serve Salt to the Customers. He said, it was not a decision made on a Local Level, but from the Jimmy John’s Corporate level. They feel Salt is Bad for you, so you should not have it for your food. To say the least, I was Livid, as I feel putting SALT on my food is a «Personal Choice». It is not up to the«Food Police» to tell me how I should eat in a Restaurant. In fact, I never heard of a Restaurant NOT having Salt. This is like Mayor Bloomburg telling me a 16 oz drink is bad for you, so we will ban it! I wrote to Jimmy John’s Corporate Office and they confirmed what the Manager had said… SALT is not good for you, and we feel you should not have SALT on your food. So, I wrote back and told him, how disappointed I was… and because of him making a decision for ME… I was now be making a decision to go to Jersey Mike’s or Subway which is around the corner. They allow their customers to have SALT if they choose; a Personal Choice. It is MY «Personal Choice» to have Salt on my food, and I do not need a Franchise telling me I cannot have Salt on my food when I eat there… So, I ended my conversation with him by letting him know, how the Personal Choice with my money will be spent at a different Sandwich shop. So, until Jimmy John’s decide to get off of their High Horses of being the«Food Police»… I will not eat there anymore… Sorry Jimmy John’s… you just lost a GOOD Customer!

Not a bad tasting sandwich, but you don’t get what you pay for. Very light on the meat, first three bites had no meat. Good Bread

Jimmy John’s, home of the«we call it gourmet then admit it’s not really gourmet» overpriced mediocre shitty sandwich. Don’t order avocado on your sandwich, they will charge you and put a teeny tiny worthless amount of crappy avocado spread. Oh, and the menu says they have alphalpha sprouts, but they don’t. The best thing about their sandwiches are the cucumbers.

I love this Jimmy Johns. Im writing specifically about One of the workers Darrell. Each time i have come and i come in at least 3 – 4 times a week; he is always friendly, courteous and professional. He remembers my order and makes the sandwich in less then 90 seconds. Today i was treated really well again by him, so well i had to write in and give they man two THUMBSUP for his outstanding service. He is an asset to the franchise and should be recognized for his excellence in customer service. If you see this post D’ your the man my friend and thanks for your wonderful customer service. Well, Jimmy John’s is just okay. Mediocre, if you ask me. You are greeted when you come into the store. The menu is on the wall. While you are briefly looking at it, the cashier invariably glares at you as if you should already have the menu memorized. Nevertheless, the bread is good even if it is just plain white sub roll. The lettuce is fresh. I have never seen brown lettuce. The store doesn’t seem dirty, which is good. They offer chips/cookies, soda, etc. They are skimpy on the meat, unless you order a «Giant Club Sandwich» that costs more for twice the amt. of meat. I think they give you such little meat so that you almost HAVE to order the extra meat. Hot peppers are extra too. I ordered a regular 8″ #5VITO which is «The original Italian sub with genoa salami, provolone, capicola, onion, lettuce, tomato & a real tasty Italian vinaigrette». Well, the person who was making my sandwich was probably new because he was reading the list of ingredients and making the sandwich a bit slowly as if a tad unsure. And I specifically asked, after I was handed my sandwich,” is there italian vinaigrette on the sandwich”(which I was expecting, according to the description). He said, «Yes». Well, Unilocal Fam, you know what’s coming next. There was no italian vinaigrette on the sandwich. Which is part of the taste of an italian sub. Epic Fail.(But there was shredded lettuce galore on the sandwich. In fact, it was mostly lettuce.) At Penn Station,(I’m smiling, just thinking about them) hot peppers are free. And the amount of meat on the sandwich is slightly more. And they offer a variety of sizes of subs. And the sub is heated with that melted cheesiness. At Jimmy Johns, you can order your sandwich wrapped in lettuce for a low carb option or on whole wheat sliced bread. But the price doesn’t change. They also deliver and cater box lunches/sandwich platters. Delivery orders include a delivery charge of 25¢ per item. I think my personal preference is Penn Station and Jersey Mikes.

I love me some Jimmy John’s but their delivery radius is something ridiculous like 2 miles. I live 3 miles away and they won’t deliver to me. Totally lame. Don’t get me wrong, the food is great and if I have to get drive the 3 miles to pick it up, I will. But don’t call yourself a sandwich delivery place if you can’t drive more than 2 miles away from the shop!

Plain. Jersey Mike’s is way better. It’s amazing a restaurant can be popular because it has witty jokes written all over the place. I’ll never go back. How about you make me a good sandwich? That’s why I came here. Not to be entertained by stupid signs and witty statements.

Jimmy Johns is the best! No need to heat up subs to make em tasty when they’re ingredients are top quallity. Just a cheap all around good sandwhich. I have been a huge fan since getting hooked on them at Virginia Tech. The one here is just as good and the delivery is super fast too.
