This place is absolutely wonderful! Firstly, I called in and was able to get in for full set and pedicure asap! Awesome! The girl that did my nails(both full set and pedicure) was named Amanda. She was an absolute delight! Very bubbly and chatty, and VERY proffesional! I will always ask for her! Both David and Sandy were wonderful as well. I believe they run the place. Very nice, and helpful. The shop was huge and beautiful! Very professional and clean. Gorgeous! The only reason they didn’t get 5 stars was the price. A tad bit steep for this poor gal. It was $ 50 total before tip. $ 25 for pedicure, and $for full set. It was about $ 10 more than expected, but, I just moved across the country from West Coast, so maybe that’s the norm here? All said and done, I recommend this shop, and Amanda as your nail tech! :)

Will NEVER go back! I got my nails done for the first time at this location and they were done by a man. A day later two broke. When I went back to get them fixed he was rude, obviously talking about me with a coworker and to top it all off he sliced my finger open. When I jerked my hand away he said«oh sorry» very sarcasticly.

Absolutely love this nail shop. I have been going to Sandi for years. She is a perfectionist, professional and very thorough. I have had a positive experence with all of the nail technicians. If you have an issue, they go the extra mile for customer satisfaction. I definitely would recommend this shop and I would give 10 stars if I could!

Pretty bad experience here. The owner did my nails; he was extremely rude and had claw nails that hurt me. He and the other women were very obviously talking about me as they laughed. Felt awful! He actually slapped my legs to tell me when to switch sides. I was waiting for my car to be serviced, and when they called me he yelled at me to not pick it up or «mess with him» because he’s not going to redo it if I mess it up. Great service, buddy… Redeeming qualities: $ 35 for shellac nails and toes(only– no massage etc) is a great price, and a stamp card is a smart concept.

I love this salon, it is clean, all of the techs are great although I prefer Jessica. She is wonderful, she does the most beautiful work! They are usually fast and effecient. I get the gel/shellac manicure, the colors are great and they last forever!

I’m kind of bummed. I’ve been trying lots of places to establish my go to place for pedis and I just haven’t found one. Happy Nails was today. Not very friendly, kind of dirty(clipped nails around the drying area and around the pedi chairs that hadn’t been cleaned up from previous clients), and actually my pedi turned out kind of sloppy. I’m beginning to feel like I’ll never find a decent nail place.

I absolutely love Happy Nails! Monica is my go to for everything, and she is great! Her shellac gel nails always look great, and when my nails are too short she pus acrylic nails on me that look so natural! Love them! And very reasonably priced

Stopped in for a quick pedicure, $ 25. There was nothing really standout about the experience. Typical nail shop in a strip mall. They do have a good selection of polishes, though.

LOVELOVELOVE happy nails. It’s by far the best place to get a pedi in all of Richmond. The mani’s are water based(not the oven mitt style) and Each pedi comes with a hot stone massage(not extra) and the staff is super amazing and kind. They’ll even pull colors out from the newest lines behind the counter for you. I’ve visited a lot of places in Richmond, and this one has always done me right. I have yet to find a place in DC that is as great as Happy Nails, I make it a point to go back to RVA at least once a month to get my nails did here.
