Growlers To Go Short Pump specializes in craft beer. We are Virginia’s first growler-​filling station, located next to Trader Joe’s in Glen Allen, VA (Short Pump). Our staff is trained and qualified to help you find the perfect beer for your tastebuds. We offer beer and food pairing suggestions, deliver kegs for parties and events, and have a killer in-​house sandwich menu. History

Established in 2014.

Growlers To Go first opened its doors on Dec 21, 2014 on 1017 N. Boulevard in the up-​and-​coming neighborhood of «Scott’s Addition». The growler-​filling station concept was entirely new to the city of Richmond and the state of Virginia, and instantly became a hit.

With the explosion of breweries in the past few years, Richmond has increased its thirst for fresh craft beer exponentially. The Growlers To Go model helps meet this demand in a fast, efficient and incredibly fun way! Our 56 taps are always pouring fresh beer, and our dispay case with over 250 bottles provides ample variety to choose from.

In early September of 2015, Growlers To Go decided to expand 15 miles west of Richmond to an area called «Short Pump». Unlike the Boulevard store, our Short Pump location serves pints and sample wheels in-​house, not to mention a magnificent gourmet sandwich menu!
