Specialties
Capital Ale House Innsbrook is located in the Innsbrook Shoppes of Richmond’s West End. Recently renovated, the restaurant now features 101 taps and a selection of more than 200 bottled beers, keeping true to our reputation of pouring more Virginia craft beer than anyone else. A separate gaming area with a pool table, two dart boards and various other games is open all day and perfect for spending time with friends after work or on weekends. Appealing to everyone from groups to families, anyone can have a perfect day or evening out. Gatherings of up to 70 people can be accommodated in our private dining room and seasonal expansion of the area can accommodate up to 100. The 150-seat patio is wonderfully landscaped with a duck pond and babbling brook for a relaxing bier garden feel. The atmosphere is family friendly offering a delicious kids menu too! Watch your favorite teams on one of our eight 55 inch HD TV’s while enjoying our Happy Hour, Monday through Friday, 3pm to 6:30pm. Capital Ale House Innsbrook is just down the road from the Innsbrook Pavilion, home of the Innsbrook After Hours concert series, making Capital Ale House the perfect before and after concert stop.
History
Established in 2004.
The first Capital Ale House came to fruition on Nov. 4th 2002, later expanding to 5 unique locations across the Commonwealth. Our ale houses are the result of four beer enthusiasts; Matt Simmons, Chris Holder, and Mike and Linda Jones whose collective experience, knowledge and love of beer have created our vision of the perfect establishment in which to drink a beer.
January 1, 04 Ale House of Innsbrook, LLC took possession of a 10,000 square foot anchor space at
the Innsbrook Shoppes. We have transformed the space to match the décor of original downtown
location, and to have more room for guests and beer. There is also a patio beside a babbling brook
and waterfall.
