Established in 1986.

Beautiful Visions For Windows was actually established in 1986 in the Washington, DC metro area. We relocated the business to the Richmond, VA area in 2007 to be closer to family. The business got started with the idea that it could provide a much greater service to customers shopping for window treatments due to fact that they worked directly for the manufacturer — therefore, keeping cost affordable while maintaining the same quality with a special touch.

The owner works very good with new homeowners and first time buyers. She spends time educating the customer about the window treatment process and industry. Buying window treatments can be a confusing process if no one has explained what the industry is about and what price differentials or areas the customer can be expected to pay for. The owner has a Masters Degree in Design and learned after working for corporate America as a Interior Decorator that she had a passion for creating window treatment designs. Likewise, she has taught many customers how they can change the entire appearance of their home by just adding beautiful window treatments.
