We have a Naturopathic Physician, a Yoga teacher and offer Meditation with Music, using a Harmonium and mindfullness training. Dr. Eva Salzer is our Chiropractor and has been in practice in Glastonbury since 1985. She is extremely gentle with her care and treats families from babies to the elderly. She previously practiced as a Medical Technologist for several years in some of the most renowned facilities in Atlanta such as Emory University and Eggleston Childrens Hospital. This advanced Medical Training has given the knowledge to not only order advanced laboratory tests, but to interpret them and refer to other Medical specialists when it is appropriate to do so.

Here at the New England Holistic Health Center we do not see you as the sum of your physical parts. Nor do we recognize the arbitrary mind/​body separation so commonly subscribed to by western medical practitioners. Instead, holistic practitioners understand that the emotional affects the physical, and the physical affects the emotional. We use prevention and intervention to promote wellness and restore the harmony to the body and mind.

Doctor Eva S.

Business Owner

Dr. Eva Salzer is the Director of Physical Medicine at New England Holistic Health Center. She founded the practice with Elizabeth Monahan, LMFT, the Director of Behavioral Health Services in1985 in Glastonbury, Ct. Dr. Salzer received her Bachelor of Science degree in Medical technology from Georgia State University in Atlanta. She worked at the well respected Egleston Children’s Hospital in Atlanta for five years specializing in Hematology. Subsequently, she singlehandedly set up an Immunoflorescence laboratory at Emory University and conducted research on effectiveness of various sun screens. She assisted an Emory University Dermatologist. In performing biopsies of possible skin cancers and completed all of the laboratory work to diagnose these conditions. Dr. Salzer entered the Preventive Natural Health field and returned to school to receive her Doctorate of Chiropractic at Life University in Atlanta.
