My husband and I have been going to Evergreen at least once a week for over a year. We tried another Chinese buffet here in Glasgow but came scurrying back. Evergreen’s buffet, though small, is tasty, consistent, and clean. The owner is very friendly. Included with your meal are dessert and drinks. It is a very good value. You can pig out on fried stuff or eat sensibly — the sautéed vegetables are so delicious I could make a meal of them. I don’t understand the complaints about«nasty brown rice.»??? Maybe some are not accustomed to the color or the texture. I haven’t lived in Kentucky my whole life. I spent many years in southern California where you can’t swing a cat without hitting an Asian restaurant. Trust me there’s nothing wrong with the rice at Evergreen. Maybe you want Uncle Ben’s with a few drops of soy sauce on it. ;D There are a lot of Asian countries and a lot of different ways to fry rice. Look how many different kinds of «authentic American BBQ» there are!
