We guarantee you and your family the same fresh, affordable and nutritionally clean caramel, kettle and savory popcorn that we provide to our children and families.

Kim and her husband, Steve, are excited to open their pilot location in Gladstone. Kim is a trained environmental scientist who is dedicated to both her community and sustainable business practices. All of Funky Monkey’s raw ingredients are 100% all natural and sourced locally, as well as being a minimal waste business.

Went here for the first time today with my fiancé and we will definitely be back. The people here are very nice and helpful, we were greeted as soon as we walked in the door, described where everything was and were offered to try anything we wanted which made the decision tough because everything is delicious. We got one big bag and four small bags. We can’t wait to finish what we got so we can try the other great flavors.

I absolutely LOVE this place. Staff is so friendly and I was able to sample a variety of popcorn. I chose the Smores flavored popcorn which was really really good!!! There are so many flavors to choose from and they were all amazing, so it may be hard to pick just one bag! :) I highly recommend trying it out!

What a little gen in Gladstone! Took our family of three boys today and the people could not have been nicer. Absolutely delicious popcorn — we got the Chicago (a mix of cheddar and caramel that is awesome), the jalapeño corn and a fun flavor for the kids. Buying more this week for «thank you’s» for the office. Had a great time and will be back!

This unique place is a real treasure. On our first visit, the owner explained the store layout and let us sample all the different flavors. The flavors are amazing. This is my second visit in the last month. Monkey bark rates high on our list. Stop by and get hooked like we have! Great place!

Out of the 4 bags I have tried, every single one is full of stale popcorn. Luckily I wasn’t the one who purchased it. Not sure if I would ever spend my money here.

Yep, this place is as good as it gets. Their popcorn is non-​GMO. It’s local. It’s FUN! I surprised my family with a couple of small bags and everyone loved it. We tried Chicago (a mildly sweet flavor mix of cheese and caramel that sounds gross but is so good) and Monkey Bark which was like peanut butter cup coated popcorn. YUM! I can’t wait to surprise them again with more fun flavors. The owners, Kim and Steve, are so friendly and accommodating they will make flavors and colors just for your special occasion. I think color coordinated wedding or birthday popcorn sounds like a blast! They are also starting to do fundraising. What other fundraising let’s you split the profits 50⁄50? I think it’s a great idea. The location is ok, a bit awkward to get in and out of the parking lot. I wish there was an outlet directly onto 72nd Street. The pin on the Unilocal map is not in the correct location. Funky Monkey is located just off 72nd street East of CVS pharmacy.

Local popcorn shop. They offer sixteen flavors and they are glad to let you try them so you get the one you like. We ended up with one big bag and four small bags.
The jalapeño cheddar is nice and cheesy with a good heat. We also got the smokey cheddar and plan to use it to supplement the jalapeño. Then there is the BBQ. Hesitated on that flavor, but turns out it’s awesome too. Can’t wait to try all the flavors and doing so will be ready since they are very reasonably priced.

A very unique specialty popcorn shop. They have 2 walls covered in sweet and savory flavors that come in 2 different sizes bags. We sampled several and ended up taking home 3 bags. My wife loved the fruity monkey mix that tasted like fruit loops cereal. I liked the Chicago — cheesy caramel. Me and my employees inhaled a bag of Monkey bark — Peanut butter/​caramel in about 30 seconds.
The owners were genuinely friendly people and have a very fun and clean store. I hope it is successful, I’ll be back.
