Advanced Massage Therapy involves using integrated techniques from the most effective modalities, we specialize in Orthopedic & Sports Massage that involves therapeutic assessment, manipulation and movement of soft tissues to resolve pain and dysfunction. We can also provide aid with relaxation and stress reduction, your therapist will listen closely to your needs and apply the appropriate techniques to help facilitate the healing process.

We are an authorized service provider of Therapeutic Health Services LLC, who facilitates our Worker’s Compensation and Personal Injury cases.

History

Established in 2013.

Advanced Massage Therapy KC was first established in June of 2013 and primarily operated out of the Gladstone Community Center with outcall services provided until January of 2014 where space was rented at Barry Road Chiropractic.

One year later, we have secured the perfect office space which is conveniently located in Gladstone, MO.

I started my massage career in 1996 by graduating from the 70 hour Swedish Massage program from the Massage Therapy Training Institute in Kansas City, MO. In 2011 I started the year long 750 hour Massage Therapy program from MTTI/​Wellspring in Kansas City, MO, graduating in 2012. I continue to attend Workshops/​Special events and pursue every educational opportunity.

My philosophy is grounded in the belief, «Do no harm»; I believe the practitioner of therapeutic massage has the responsibility to their client of creating the most effective and safest plan in order to treat and facilitate the healing process.

I am a curious person, who loves a problem or puzzle to solve and I have a tremendous passion to help people. Being able to make a real difference in the physical, mental & emotional health of another human being through the art of touch is incredibly rewarding, I absolutely love what I do!
