History
Established in 2015.
We started our boarding business in March of 2015. We started our Sanctuary in 2014. We’ve owned birds for 20+ years and started rescuing and assisting in rehoming birds over the last few years. In 2014 we decided to file for a nonprofit rescue and was approved in June of 2015. We wanted to board birds to give the sanctuary revenue.

Business Owner
I my self have had birds of my own for 20+ years. My husband and I have always had birds together and our oldest is a 17 year old African grey. We lost my beloved rose breasted cockatoo a few years ago and I decided to rescue a cockatoo to fill the void of loosing Angel. After adopting Boo Boo we took in Jack our first macaw. We then had a chance to take in a few macaws from a breeder that was retiring. Around that time it was suggested by a friend to file for a nonprofit and so we did. We gathered board members and started all the paper work. We filed in December and were approved by June. We decided to start a macaw aviary for aggressive macaws that couldn’t make it as pets. We also had the idea to start boarding birds to help with costs along the way. Boarding birds has been such a joy to our whole family. We all love animals and love to help animals and people so it was just a perfect match.
