Melesio S. Fresh Fruit

I was headed through the Pacheco Pass headed East towards the I-​5 and since it was my first time through in daylight I decided to stop at a couple of roadside fruit stands and pick up some fresh fruits and veggies.
Melesio S. Fresh Fruit is on the South side of the 152 and was the second stand I passed. They had ample area to park, and offerred a port-​a-​potty for customers’ use. There were beautiful flowering plants advertised at $ 5 each, many of them with flowers.
Strawberries were $ 2 per small green basket and $ 10 for a box that contained 6 green baskets. I bought the box and the strawberries were very tasty, but I didn’t make it five miles down the road before I found another fruit stand which had strawberries at $ 5.50 for the same size box.
The fruit is fresh, but at twice the price of Pacheco Pass Farmers Market, I’d suggest you keep traveling East and stop there instead as all their prices were lower.
