I have looked and looked for a personal trust worthy detail guru. Paul is that guy. Normally I only trust myself. But Paul took the time to walk thru my vehicle and make a package that is perfectly fit for my needs. I just bought a 70,000 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat and of course I wanted it protected. I went to Paul and he showed me this amazing and proven operation procedure called Ceramic Pro. I went with a Gold Package of Ceramic Pro which included the following products, now every car has a different story and Paul walks you thru that story.
Ceramic Pro 9H
Ceramic Pro 9H is a permanent nano ceramic protective paint coating. Its transparent 3D matrix structure protects the paint or surface from scratches, graffiti, dirt, aging, premature oxidation, weathering, road salt, rock chips, bugs, bird droppings and even acid rain. It offers excellent scratch, thermal (1382 degrees), UV, oxidation, corrosion and chemical resistance. A surface that has been sealed with Ceramic Pro 9H stays clean for a longer period of time due to its smoothness and hydrophobic qualities. Ceramic Pro 9H is permanent and can only be removed using machine polish. The unique formulation of 9H has enabled it to be multi-​layered which means the thickness of the coating can be increased with additional layers allowing a thicker/​harder film that will increase its scratch resistance.
Paul took the time to call me daily while he had my car and walked me thru each and every step of my cars journey. I have been away from Unilocal for sometime, but now I am back because I fell in love with customer experience at Lufo’s Auto Detailing.
My wife drives a Highlander 2015 Platinum Edition that is three weeks brand spanking new. The Highlander has all the bells and whistles. The paint is a beautiful shiny pearl black with blue specks; however, I was totally disheartened when I saw swirl marks and light scratches on the SUV. The swirl marks were present all over the Highlander: Hood, doors, backside, and near the frame of the windows. I first noticed the light scratches when we drove the Highlander with only 20 miles off the Toyota Dealership lot in Milpitas, CA after Christmas, December 2015.
I have a compulsive eye for detail and the light scratches bugged me to no end. Once my compulsive eye took hold of my soul, I had to search for a solution. I decided to find an auto detail pro who installs OptiCoat Pro or Ceramic Pro 9H. However, I fell in LOVE with Ceramic Pro 9H a German ingenuity.
I researched via internet: auto detail, light scratches and causes, prevention, car care, post new car care, read the Highlander manual and delved into every detail regarding how to preserve the beauty of my wife’s elegant SUV.
My search on Unilocal (I trust Unilocal for customer experiences, ratings and stories) lead me to Lufo’s Auto Detailing and three other auto detail shops in Santa Clara, San Jose and Milpitas/​Fremont who each have over 100 top Unilocal reviews. Lufo’s only had 6 customer ratings; however, I called all the shops New Year’s Eve.

I drove the Highlander to the Milpitas/​Fremont detail for a quote, because they stated I needed to bring the SUV for a quote. The owner, set up the appointment and I met with an employee who was not too enthusiastic and did not engage or seem interested in my questions. So I departed the shop somber and uninspired.
However, I called Lufo’s and Paul responded quickly. He invited me to his new auto detail palace in Gilroy. He was very attentive to my questions and focused on my concerns. The factors in my decision to allow Paul the privilege to treat my Highlander was based on the list below:

Cost was Definitely a huge factor, but the investment in the wife’s ride is the best money I ever spent on an automobile detail + Ceramic Pro.
DETAIL: Super important that the detail professional understand the composition of chemicals, the interaction of chemicals with the auto, must have LED lights to see deeper on the surface of the car, special canisters to remove the hard water in the shop, specific towels, high quality products, etc.
Experience: The detailer must have years experience with OptiCoat, Opticoat Pro, and other coatings, and understand Ceramic Pro 9H application. Paul has a ton of experience as do his team.
Attitude: Paul has a positive attitude and is passionate about his work. He stays late until 11PM or midnight to make sure the job was done right and he himself invests elbow grease.
Follow up, return calls, texts, communication: Paul is quick to respond and has been following up to make sure we are extremely satisfied. I say extremely because I had a doubt about a small mark on my passenger window. Paul would not sleep and continued to follow up to make sure we were happy. The white mark was nothing since Paul resolved my concerns quickly.
Our SUV is a bitchen, sexy monster of an elegant SUV. She will look beautiful for a long time. Thank you Lufo’s and PAUL for the EXCELLENCE in total customer care and satisfaction.
I highly recommend doing the research when investing a serious chunk of money on a ride, but most importantly, I truly feel that calling Paul for a 1^st or 2^nd opinion is worthwhile.

Went there w/​o appointment and got very good service. The owner took me for a little shop tour where he showed me all the products they use and also showed me some samples of his past work.
He has been in this business for years and definitely knows this profession. I recommend this place.
It was also good to see that they were recycling the water.

I went here on a recommendation from a dent pro tech. I didn’t even know it was there on Chestnut even though I’ve driven past it a 100 times. But boy am I happy I did. Paul went out of his way to make sure I was 100% satisfied with my detail. I got the complete detail with color correction and my truck came out amazing. It is a 2008 and just look at the pictures. It looks brand new! I highly recommend Lufos auto detailing as it’s the only place I will be taking my vehicles.

My «door dings» were removed by DentPro, and I was able to get a new key fob within 30 minutes from leaving the shop. He gave me some referrals for other auto needs that I am sure to follow up with.

Absolutely fantastic work! We brought in two cars, both heavily used and abused by kids. A Toyota Sienna and a Toyota Yaris. Every possible scuff and stain that the kids could imagine were present.
