I was working with Jennifer to get my divorced finalized. This was back in early 2015. I paid over $ 700. I had already filed for a default divorce but according to her I made an error that would never be allowed by any judge. She made the amendments and had my non– responsive spouse served. After 30 days my spouse agreed to sign a divorce settlement via stipulated default divorce. He was in rehab. I told her that it was imperative that we get this taken care of asap before he started drinking again. She told me to wait a few weeks. Then it became a came of her cancelling or him cancelling. Come August I’m seeing the end of this dark road. I’m seeing a divorce agreement in my near future when I stop hearing from her. Her assistant Marie kept telling me she was very ill. I then asked for a refund of services not rendered since I desperately needed to get my divorce taken care of while my spouse is in agreement. I heard from Marie that I would hear from Jennifer’s husband to discuss a refund. This was in September. I never even received my copy of the documents that my spouse was served in March. Here I am in January 2016 and I’M STILL married to this mentally untable man. I reiterated several times that this was a relationship I needed out of but I was taken seriously. This soon to be ex spouse of mine started drinking again, broke in to my apartment several times and managed to get me evicted from my home. Guess where me and my children are living? That’s right, in this toxic environment where he still tries to control my every move, stalks me, and steals from me. I am the only working parent. I need out of this marriage. I feel like I’m so close yet so far. If anyone can help, please contact me. I could get be in a possible dangerous situation if he restarts his drinking. And Jennifer I am still expecting my refund plus interest for this disaster you left me in.
