We are an unconventional B&B in that you are getting an apartment to stay in. Our motto is, «A whole apartment for the price of a room.» Breakfast items are provided for you to choose from, including cereal, eggs, milk, juices, coffee and tea, and a homemade baked good.

The B&B has two bedrooms, full bath, and a living, dining area that includes a kitchen fully stocked for cooking and dining. In the summer there is an air conditioner that cools the entire apartment. The B&B is located on the second floor of a building that previously housed a printing business. The building is located on the main street of Gilbertsville, Commercial Street, and is one of the buildings included in the Historical Registry of the village.

History

Established in 1999.

The B&B was started to provide accommodations for family and friends of the residents of Gilbertsville, so they would not have to travel so far for a room. Many people who stay are attending a wedding or party, but there are guests who like to stay for an extended period just to visit the wonderful sites around Central New York.

I have lived in Gilbertsville for 35 years, and I have loved all my time here. I came to teach in a local school, and I am still teaching today. I started the B&B with a friend in 1999, but she decided she no longer wanted to run it, so I took it over. I enjoy providing a clean, comfortable place to stay for my clients.
