Went early afternoon to drop off a prescription for our daughter, and told that it would be ready in an hour. After receiving no text that it was ready, we went many hours later that evening only to be told that they didn’t even have it in stock. Really? When you turn in a prescription, it means that you really need it. At least tell us up front that it’s not in stock and save us the time. This isn’t the only time we’ve had poor experiences at this Walgreens. Taking our business to other pharmacies.

Went here at 730 am for an urgent matter on my way to work. This location doesn’t open till 8 am and the ones by my house are open at 7am but when I came to the door it opened(I am used to seeing walgreens doors with carts or signs in front of the door when they are closed) and a worker was running around opening the store and I asked if they were open and John p who was working there said no but he would be more than happy to help me out and check me out since the registers were all ready to go. GREATCUSTOMERSERVICE so I thought he deserved a shout out. great job John. Thanks again

The store itself is fine, but the pharmacy could use a little life. It’s like the Walking Dead back there. I’ve gone there many times and been told the Rx is not ready when they said it would be, or they’ve run out of stock, or they don’t have the Rx… you name it. I took a coupon in once, and the tech had no idea how to process it… just rookie mistakes constantly. I get the sense that it’s not the most coordinated or well-managed pharmacy.

They have a redbox here, which is why I step foot in here half the time. They also have a drive thru pharmacy which is why I don’t need to step foot in here the other half of the time. It’s a drug store, you’ve been here, we’ve all been here — it’s a place to go for your drugs and the late night«oh, i really need a nail clipper, but where am i going to find one at 10pm in gilbert?»(everything in gilbert closes at 9pm) They did have a pretty legit sale on the Burt’s Bee Shampoo that I bought… normally $ 8 and I got it for $ 2…so they do have SOME sales every now and then.
