History
Established in 2005.
Since opening our doors in 2005, Stroller Spa has pioneered a niche market that has nearly exploded over the course of 6 years with similar businesses popping up all over the globe — but Stroller Spa truly has grassroots beginnings.
It all started with the desire of one mother to personalize her stroller, and then eventually evolved to a hub in the San Francisco Bay area where mothers flocked to not only customize their little ones’ sweet rides, but troubleshoot stroller problems — everything from broken brakes, bent chassis’, flat tires, torn fabric and more.
Stroller Spa then began cleaning and detailing strollers and car seats as more parents wanted a newly refurbished ride for their little ones, particularly subsequent children.
To better meet the needs of their growing customer base, Stroller Spa soon added The Stroller Exchange, Rental Services, and Bubble Wrapped! — Baby Gear Storage Solutions programs.
Our Phoenix location opened in 2012.
Meet the Business Owner
Meridith A.
Business Owner
With multiple degrees in education from Arizona State University, Meridith taught Kindergarten for several years before joining the ranks of stay at home moms when her oldest daughter was born. She now spends her days playing with her pre-schooler and toddler and loves it. Currently on stroller number 6, it just recently occurred to her that cleaning was an option.
When she found Stroller Spa, she knew she’d found her match and hopes to share that «like new stroller feeling» with other moms.
Meridith has lived in Arizona for twelve years and can’t imagine living anywhere colder. As she’s taught her kids to say, «I’m a Sun Devil, Jerry!» Along with her husband, Mike, a former US Marine, Meridith and the girls love dining outdoors and enjoying the perfect Arizona «winter» weather.
