There isn’t much I can say here that everyone else hasn’t already said. Wilson was incredibly thorough during the consultation, and very candid about the risks/​rewards of my surgery. At no point did I ever feel rushed or that there were any unanswered questions. The procedure went well with some minor complications due to my personal situation. They were cleared up well during a follow-​up visit.
The biggest surprise? Wilson called me personally today just to check up on me, even though I already had a previous follow-​up and another one scheduled. Unheard of.
As some have stated, the wait times are pretty long so you should schedule your day accordingly, however I would not remove a star for this simply because of the excellent quality of service I’ve gotten here.
I’ll probably never have to go back here just because of the nature of the work done here, but I would absolutely recommend that others look here for their needs. You’ll feel like you’re really cared for here. A person, not a paycheck.

I was referred by my dentist for wisdom teeth extraction. Dr. Wilson spent a lot of time with me during the consultation explaining everything. I had a lot of questions because I work in a surgery department at the hospital. The day of the procedure, I felt so comfortable with his staff. I trusted them and they were so wonderful. I healed quicker then I thought, and I had absolutely no problems. The office staff was always helpful. I called multiple times for medication, billing and scheduling questions. I would recommend Dr. Wilson to my closest friends and family!

I was referred here from my dentist and checked out the hundreds of 5 star reviews for my wisdom teeth extraction. Dr. Wilson is very knowledgeable and was impressed with him immediately. I liked that he explained the procedure and made me feel at ease with the whole process, which can be pretty nerve-​wracking. Day of surgery, everything went well and was sent home with an re-​freezable ice compress, tons of gauze, a water syringe and a $ 5 gift card to Jamba Juice! Staff here are great– office is nice and clean. I just had my two week checkup appointment and was told everything looks great (no infections) and should be completely healed in just a couple weeks.
A couple negatives– For me, getting an appointment was difficult with my schedule as I work full time in Central Phoenix so I did have to take time off for appointments and of course the surgery, which wasn’t convenient. Wait time in the waiting room is also long– about 20 – 30 minutes each visit. Also, on my first visit, I had to pay out of pocket for an x-​ray because my insurance didn’t cover that and I wasn’t told until after the x-​ray. I already had x-​rays done at my previous dentist appointment and asked them to send those over so I wouldn’t have to get x-​rays again. When I asked about it, Dr. Wilson’s office told me they did not receive them.
I give Dr. Wilson 5 stars because he did a great job and I was in great hands. I would absolutely recommend coming here.

Met Dr. Wilson, to get a consultation on how my wisdom teeth is growing and what to do next. He was very nice and made you feel comfortable and important. I am coming in, in a few weeks to get my surgery and I know I’m going to be in good hands. I like his approach in making you understand how your teeth works and what is going on so you’re not left lost in space about it and just having someone pull teeth out that you’re not even sure if you need to or not. He confirms the truth and he is honest.
I am also glad I met leeda, I think is the account manager or something. She’s very nice and understanding with financial issues. She knows I’m a struggling recent graduate and is working as best she is able with me to be sure I can get in and get it done.
The office is very nice and simple. I like that it has a relaxing feel to it.
All in all, it is quite a drive for me but I would drive to see them :)!

I am new to Gilbert and used Unilocal to find an oral surgeon to investigate a small mass inside my cheek. Dr. Wilson performed a minor biopsy and sent the mass to a lab for analysis. My cheek has healed wonderfully and I’m all in the clear.
Like other reviewers on Unilocal,I can attest that Dr. Wilson and his staff are a class act. Dr. Wilson understands what it takes to make his patients comfortable. He takes the extra time to explain the situation and his staff is friendly and helpful.
I can honestly say I could not have asked for a better experience.

Just had surgery yesterday, an extraction and an implant. What a great experience. (As great as it could be for dental surgery). Dr. Wilson is so nice. He has a great bedside manner and is very thorough. All of his girls that assist him were very sweet and professional. His office is very nice and I never had to wait very long. He himself always calls to follow up right when he said he would. I would definitely recommend Dr. Wilson for any of your

From the moment we had our consultation for my 17 yr old daughter to get all 4 molars pulled out Dr. Wilson was very sensitive to her and her feelings of anxiety, he explained everything in depth to her and he took his time, she and I felt very comfortable and were ready to schedule. The day she went the Dr. And staff were great, they sent a go home bag with her after surgery and she was so excited they had packed a jamba juice card for her to help heal. Dr. Wilson called and checked on her the night of surgery, he also gave his personal cell for any emergencies. He was the best Dr. We have ever been to. I broke a tooth and needed an extraction followed by an implant. It’s a long process and several visits but with Dr. Wilson the process far exceeded my expectations. He takes plenty of time to calmly discuss the process and options. In short, he has great «bedside manner». I would not hesitate to return and will recommend him to all my friends and family who need an oral surgeon. He is caring, responsive, and well-​trained. And on top of that he has wonderful staff.
I would give him 6 stars if I was able.
Don’t hesitate to call his office for any of your oral surgery needs, including wisdom teeth extraction or implants.

I recently moved to Gilbert from out of state and was referred to Dr. Wilson from my newly acquired regular dentist. I have had some pretty negative experiences in the past with other dentists and oral surgeons so I was wary of going to someone new, especially one in a new state without any recommendation other than my normal dentist.
Upon meeting Dr. Wilson and his staff I was put at ease and felt they genuinely wanted me to enjoy my experience as much as the situation permitted and were upfront and clear about the cost of the procedure of removing my two bottom wisdom teeth.
When I met Dr. Wilson he was understanding, thorough and down to earth. He took the time to answer all my questions and even understood my anxiety regarding having an IV put in during the procedure. The day of the surgery was easy and I never felt one ounce of pain even though my teeth should have been taken out years ago and were in difficult spots to remove. Both he and the staff have been available for any questions or concerns and I feel like I can talk to them without being rushed. What a relief to find Dr. Wilson and his staff!

I wrote a review on Dr. Wilson but not through Unilocal.IMHO, A health provider MUST have a calm and pleasant demeanor i.e. great «bedside» manner, Dr. Wilson has it.
He listens with patience, explains what’s needed explanation.
After the procedure is done, you’re asked to return for follow up examination just to make sure that no other issues appeared and you’re healing as expected.
Dr. WIlson is a keeper.

We had a great experience getting my son’s wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Wilson. The office staff was friendly and professional. I came to Dr. Wilson after being referred by my orthodontist to have my wisdom teeth removed. I was initially nervous about having such a procedure done, but the staff and Dr. Wilson were caring and reassuring. Not once have I ever felt so well taken care of during such a stressful event — Dr. Wilson patiently and carefully went over the steps and risks involved in the surgery, and I felt very comfortable and prepared for the surgery.
I feel as though there are very few doctors out there who actually make their patient feel comfortable and well-​cared for. Dr. Wilson is definitely a very kind doctor who I have recommended to many friends who have needed oral surgery.

I was referred here by an ASDOH dental student to have my wisdom teeth taken out.
The office is easily accessible and the building itself is very nice. Nice relaxing leather chairs in the waiting room… which I didn’t really get that much time to enjoy because by the time I was done with the paperwork they were taking me back. The staff is extremely friendly and make the whole experience as comfortable as can be.
Overall, this was a consultation for my surgery at a later date. I was expecting a quick 15 minute consult, but it was actually around a 45 minute visit. Dr. Wilson answered all my questions, thoroughly explained the procedure, risks, and expectations. As a medical student, I enjoy learning — Dr. Wilson took the time to go over the xray and anatomy with me and really made me a part of the treatment process. Never a moment where I felt rushed. Just by talking to him, you can tell he’s a smart guy and actually likes connecting with his patients.
And then there’s the whole financial aspect of the procedure… i have no dental insurance so of course i’m going to be a little worried about the $$$…i had all these questions of how much everything would amount to and Tracy (i’m guessing the office manager?) came back to the room and went through all the costs and scheduling information with me. Extremely pleasant and polite… can’t ask for much more. As I think about it, the overall procedure is pretty expensive, but with a little bit of graciousness the total came out to something a little bit more manageable.
So in a month I’ll be down about 4 teeth and hopefully won’t look like a chipmunk… i’ll update on how the procedure goes later!

I had a great experience getting my wisdom teeth out with Dr. Wilson. He did not rush through the appointment, but took plenty of time explaining the procedure and answering all my questions. His staff was very nice and helpful. I left with the feeling that they really care about their patients. I should have had my wisdom teeth out when I was a teen, and put it off for many years because I was nervous. My teeth were completely impacted and near a nerve. I’ve heard of other people having numbness in their lip after getting their wisdom teeth out, but I didn’t have any side effects. The experience was much, much better than I thought it would be, thanks to Dr. Wilson. I highly recommend him!
