Had scheduled an 8 am appt a month in advance. Arrived at 7:55, and was«greeted» by two huge ugly behemoth sized women with rude attitudes and unwelcoming demeanors. Waited for over an hour… nothing. Finally, about 9:10, went to the front to retrieve my original papers issued from the doctor, and left… I pointed out their unprofessionalism, and they just said«you didn’t tell us you had an appointment». And I might add, they never asked. This place is to be avoided at all costs, and should be an embarrassment to Sonora Quest!

I agree with a lot of the other reviews about this place. The technicians here are so insanely rude. They give hardly any feedback about what to do if scheduling appointments. They get smart with you if you ask how much longer etc. And that’s after waiting an hour and a half. Look, I’m not new to getting blood wk etc. I’ve scheduled appointments and waited hours even after the fact. Sometimes I think if they purely just don’t like you for some reason, they will intentionally make you wait longer. If you don’t like your job, my God find something else in the medical field that you will enjoy. The Patients should be treated kindly and with respect. Isn’t that what the hippocratic oath is all about?! I wish sonora quest would include ‘treat humans kindly’ in their job descriptions when looking for potential employees. If you can avoid this place, please do. They don’t deserve your insurance money, or copays.

Went to get blood drawn here, I know they deal with a lot of cranky sick people, but damn if you don’t like what you do for a living, maybe you should change occupations.(The phlebotomist/front desk)

BEPREPAREDTOWAIT! It does not matter if you make an apt. It does not matter what time of day or day of the week you go in here … you will wish you had a book!

Back I went for another round of waiting-room atrocities today. I took a friend’s advice and made an appointment online for 8:30 a.m. this time, because I really had to get in prior to a doctor visit that I have scheduled. I am so glad I did. When I arrived, I found a lobby overflowing with irate would-be blood-givers, some of whom claimed to have been waiting since when the doors opened at 6:55. It wouldn’t be Greenfield Sonora Quest without the indescribable pungent odors wafting about in the lobby, the seemingly never-ending parade of patients marching up to the desk complaining of their wait time and futilely inquiring as to when it will be their turn… Though it was my third or fourth visit to this location, they could not find me in their system(even though, interestingly, I entered all personal data into their website to make the appointment the day prior) and had to fill out a bunch of paperwork, which pushed my appointment into the«late zone.» There were no seats, no room to lean against a wall, just no room at the inn. Sigh. Finally, at about 9:10, I got called back. The only saving grace to this catastrophe was the lovely Cecelia, who was back to draw my blood swiftly and painlessly! What a peach! Seriously, she is a champ. I keep wanting to give this place like one star, but Cecelia deserves six… so I guess I have to continue to rate it three. My advice to all Gilbert residents… make an appointment, be prepared to wait half an hour anyway, and request Cecelia! She is the facility’s saving grace.
