Smiles At San Tan Ranch

Having just moved back to Gilbert I did not yet have a dentist… Then I cracked a tooth! Luckily I found Smiles right around the corner from my house (seriously!). Not only are they super close their staff is super friendly and professional! Im so glad I found thi group!

This place is awesome! This is the first place that I ever went to that didn’t make me feel bad for not flossing! They are all so friendly and welcoming. Molly, Sharma and Dr. Anderson are the best! I would recommend this place to everyone!

Oh my gosh, I can’t rave enough about this office! The staff is so super! They are the perfect combination of friendly and welcoming yet very professional. The Dentist always takes time to talk to me about my dental history and what concerns I might have about my oral health. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I have to admit that going to the dentist is not my favorite thing, as it probably isn’t for a lot of people. The staff and doctors were great at making me feel comfortable and are very accommodating. I’m almost looking forward to make 6 month checkup. Thanks for your professionalism and empathy.

Had a wonderful experience at Smiles at San Tan Ranch today! I brought my grandmother in for her first visit this morning with Dr. Isom. When her front tooth chipped and broke off yesterday I contacted the office and was able to make an appointment for her in less than 24 hours. Candace at the front desk updated me on her treatment recommendation while I was waiting and they had time to repair her tooth while we were there. I appreciated being updated along the way. The visit was just under an hour. I was impressed with how quickly they were able to take care of her! When my grandma walked out the door she had a huge smile on her face! She said she hasn’t felt as confident as she does now in YEARS. She loved Dr. Isom. He was very caring and did great work. I am beyond grateful for the entire staff at Smiles at San Tan Ranch! Thank you for making a 72 year old woman feel confident and beautiful again! We will definitely be back.

The staff here is amazing, they are always so nice. My kids love coming here. My kids & I have been here several times now for cleanings and they are so gentle with my girls. They were able to correct some of my fillings that were poorly done by an other dental group. They have great customer service and are amazing with kids as well as adults.

I had a great experience. All I went in for was a cleaning and a check up, and I received personable service from the entire office staff. From the girl at reception to the hygienist, to Dr Boyse, they were all thorough, they made me feel like I had been a repeat patient, when this was only my first visit. I look forward to future contact with Smiles at San Tan Ranch.

I went to this office previously before when Dr. Porter owned this office. Needless to say, there was a reason why he no longer runs that office.
¹²⁄₂₀₁₀ — I decided to give the new owners a chance. No complaints other than getting out of the office a lot later than I expected. Seemed as though the dentist was taking care of multiple patients at a time and lost track of time. But since I had told them before anything started that I had to be to work at 9:00am — they assured me, I would get to work on time. I didn’t leave until 9:00am.
Fast forward —
12÷14÷11 — I called the office and spoke with Amy about a bill I received practically a year after services. After inquiring about the bill, she did some research and told me it was billed incorrectly and instead of a balance, I had a credit. She asked me if I wanted the credit to remain in the system of a refund.
I figured I could use the credit for a cleaning so asked about a cleaning. Amy told me they’d recommend that I get a full exam and cleaning. I used my benefits elsewhere earlier this year so I wasn’t sure what benefits if any I had left. She told me she would check and call me back. I tentatively scheduled an appt for ¹²⁄₂₂.
On ¹²⁄₁₉ at 4:25pm, I realized Amy never called me back so I called the office to inquire about my benefits. I spoke with Sarah. She put me on hold several times and told me Amy would call me back the following day at 9:45am to explain my benefits. Because I knew I would incur a charge if I didn’t cancel my appt within the 48 hour window, I asked her if she knew if I had any benefits left for the year, again she put me on hold (I could hear her talking in the background with Amy) and she finally came back and told me they «were leaving and of course had things to do» and that she couldn’t answer my questions but Amy would call me back the next day. Pretty much quoted verbatim, no exaggeration. Pretty much after that, I had no desire to go back to this office.
Still annoyed by the lack of professionalism, I researched their hours and found that they closed at 4:00pm on Monday. It would’ve probably been in Sarah’s best interest to say the office was closed and she was unable to pull up my info instead of putting me on hold 4 times and ultimately telling me she was leaving and had other things to do.
Needless to say, I requested for a refund that I was due and will not be going back.

Nice office with flat screen TV’s to view while they work and massaging dental chairs. Outstanding office staff. The dentists are excellent and very personable. The doctor himself calls the day after to see how I was doing. They are my new full t me dentist and my first recommendation to anyone who asks.
