Steve has a great business model. I talked to every other security company out there. Steve was the only one that listened to what I wanted and my budget. He made it work and his customer service was outstanding. Did a 2 camera install and security system for my business. And installed the security system the same day I got the quote! I will defiantly recommend Steve to anyone I know that needs a security system! Thanks again!

Great communication prior to installation and the security system works great. I never felt the dreaded «hard sell» and the price quoted was the price paid. The guys showed up on time and carefully installed the cameras in less than half a day. It is really nice when you can find a locally owned and based business such as this that is trustworthy and prompt.

Steve has been so awesome! The first time I called late on a Friday it went to voicemail but the next day he called right away in the morning and I asked if he had time to come over that day and he fit us right in to his schedule. It’s been really hard finding someone that will come out just to give us an estimate based on my husband & I’s schedule since we both work days. Once Steve was at our house he was super informative and passionate about what he does for a living. He even knew a ton about the previous system that the last homeowner had in place. We scheduled for him to come out in the next time slot that he had available at night (Again he was super flexible on working within our work schedule). He installed the system himself and made sure everything worked properly before he left and showed us how to work the system. This was our first home security system so we were a little shy to use it at first. My husband read through the whole manual and started to come up with questions so we asked Steve to come back out and again was super accommodating and come out in person to answer all of our questions and really help us feel secure about using a new system. Steve really knows what he is talking about and loves what he does. We are really happy that we choose to go with Smart Security and get the great customer service that they provide.

Seemed to busy to respond promptly to messages. had to call both guys just to try and get appointment. seems like the concept of getting an itemized estimate, setting an apointment, and acting interested in my business is foreign to this company. excuses, lack of estimate appointment time and communication are standard procedure with competitors but not the case here. Seemed like the attitude is you are supposed to hound and chase them for your business. definitely dropped the ball with me I’ll choose a competitor and pay more.

Steve and his team installed video surveillance and a alarm system in our home and it is absolutely fantastic. The install went smoothly, the products work great and the follow up is the best part. If I ever have a question about a camera, a keypad, etc, Steve takes time to answer and help out. I highly recommend Smart Security if you want the best done right the first time. Thank you Steve!

I had Steve from Smart Security come out to my home and install cameras for me. He pulled the wire though the attic, which is pretty small, he got the coverage I wanted and even managed to get the DVR system to fit into my on-​Q Panel. His work was very clean, picked up after the install and all of the wiring was neatly bundled. Thank you for everything.

We had some programming issues with a 15 – 20 year old system and called Steve because of the Unilocal reviews. Spot on. Discovered multiple defective sensors, replaced the motherboard for free, came back for a few fine tunings and all around, great to work with. So impressed I signed up for monitoring because the system is protecting my 90 year old, self sufficient mother. Peace of mind. Honest guy.

Steve Richardson is fantastic! I called him in the evening regarding repair of a rental property alarm system and an appointment was scheduled for the following day. We moved into our home a year or so ago that had an existing hard-​wired security system. We called a couple of other bigger name alarm companies to see if they could use my existing system and complement it with new hardware/​technology. Most of them either declined immediately or just wanted to install another duplicate/​wireless security system in my home because they didn’t want to take the time to trouble shoot the existing one. The same day we called Safe Security, Steve came out and inspected our existing system. He took the time to explain our options and most importantly, was able to use our existing system AND convert it to a new Honeywell system with cellular connection!
