Darla specializes in Grey Coverage, Multidimensional color, and Color Corrections. She carries Keune color as well as an Organic color line and an organic wet-​line at the back bar. She is a Certified Colorist and a Master Stylist, also specializing in Signature Cuts, Keratin Smoothing, Blowouts, and Makeovers.

History

Established in 2010.

Scissor Sage started in a small office building in Chandler, AZ. Scissor Sage is now located in Gilbert at the Beautiful Salon Boutique on Val Vista and Williamsfield, near Kohls, Sprouts, and Pita Jungle. Servicing everyone from the Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, and Queen Creek areas.

Hi! I’m Darla. Owner of Scissor Sage. Hair is my absolute passion! I’m a Master Stylist and Color Specialist, originally from NYC. I specialize in Cuts, Gray Coverage, Multidimensional color, and Keratin Smoothing.

I am classically trained in techniques like those of Vidal Sassoon, Toni & Guy, & Rusk. Education is what keeps stylists fresh, so I’m always updating my education to keep my skills sharp and stay on top of what’s current. Scissor Sage is a small, 1 stylist studio, located inside of Salon Boutique in Gilbert. I book by appointment only to give each client a relaxing experience and the attention they deserve. It is a very friendly, casual, and artistic environment. Come visit Scissor Sage where the creative juices are flowing and the music is always jammin’.
