Found Kevin via Unilocal and other websites –was buying a 2nd home in the East Valley. What a pro. I’ve had other inspectors, he’s the best I’ve worked with. Very attentive to detail, great in noting and explaining things. My home had a series of fixes the owner needed to make before the sale went thru. Kevin did a 2nd inspection and when a third and final inspection was needed, he wasn’t able to make my deadline for closing on the property — but he found another inspector for me to handle it! Prices are competitive to other inspectors. Save yourself more research and just hire Kevin.

Kevin saved my family from buying a house that would have drained us financially. I loved the house so much and had everything ready to go. I already thought out how to style my furniture in it… up to the point Kevin showed all the problems the house had structurally wrong with it. Surprised by all the 5 star reviews. Unfortunately I can’t say the same. On the surface Kevin seemed very thorough… When we moved into our new home we found several things that were overlooked, one being a $ 1100 issue with our jacuzzi. 3 days into moving in and we never even used it. Had we known about this before moving in we would have asked the sellers to fix. I’m not sure if this was an isolated case and wish I could report something positive but… Yeah. A few other small issues but the jacuzzi is gonna cost a pretty penny.

Helen H. — Kevin did a preinspection on our new home that just finished construction. He did an amazing job. He was very thorough and extremely knowledgable about every aspect of home construction and building codes. On top of that he’s a really nice guy. During his inspection he took detailed pictures for us to share with our new home builder. You would think with a new home that everything would be perfect. However he identified areas in our ceiling that did not have enough insulations as well as some structural trusses that need replaced. He looks for issues most home owners do not think to address. His work helped us to ensure any problems were corrected before we took possession of the home.
The cost for his inspection will most likely be paid for by the reduction in air conditioning costs as a result of better insulation. We’ll definately have him back for our one year warranty inspection.

The business profile shows it serves Gilbert and the surrounding areas and acutally most of the valley on the map. I found out after calling that this is not true and he is now mostly an East side only inspector. Ended up being a waste of time when looking for a west side inspection but Kevin was nice enough to return the call and tell me so.

Kevin did a great job with our home inspection in January 2015. Our one year home warranty was fast approaching with Meritage Homes and we needed peace of mind going forward that our house was okay since we had so many issues.
Kevin spent about 3 hours total looking over the house and provided a detailed inspection report the night of the inspection via email (pictures included!). He even came back this month (March) to ensure the repairs were completed satisfactorily and provided another re-​inspection report— completely free of charge!
I will use Kevin again and I’ve already recommended him to family members who need their home inspected soon as well. He’s the best!

Hired Kevin based on the reviews on Unilocal.He is worth every penny he charges and he’s an extremely nice guy. Very professional, zero nonsense, highly knowledgeable. Inspection happened early on a Sunday, got the report before 1PM.
I was there for most of the inspection. At the end, he does a very thorough presentation of his findings while displaying the photos he took during the inspection. Cancelled the purchase and saved myself a ton of $$$ and grief. Will hire him for the next inspection.

We had Kevin out to inspect our new build. It was easy to schedule an appointment date — he came out on a Sunday for us. Pricing is fair (a per square ft basis). He went through the house and surrounding lot systematically. You’re welcome to walk with him if you’re interested (you should be, it’s your house!). He founded several mistakes and oversights that the builder missed. Definitely worth the cost for the piece of mind.

After reading the reviews on Unilocal Kevin did not let me down. He conducted a very thorough and complete inspection on our future home purchase. He let me follow him around some too and taught me a lot about my new home and some things for me to look out for and to be aware of that will help me to take better care of my home. Kevin’s review of his findings with my wife and I after the inspection was very thorough and very helpful for us. We got the report the same day with lots of great pictures. Also a part of his deal he links you up with a Termite inspection service (Protection Termite who also did a great job too) that will come out and inspect your home for termites and then give you a 1 year guarantee which is nice. I give him my strongest recommendation.

We chose Kevin based on all of his great reviews, and I will gladly add to that list. He was thorough on the inspection and explained every item in detail. Answered all of my questions and took the time to show me the items I wanted more clarification on. He seemed well versed and knowledgeable in every aspect. We have had several home inspections done on previous purchases and I can say I felt much more confident with Kevin than I did with any other inspector.
We probably won’t be needing another inspection anytime soon, but when we do, I will definitely use him and will recommend him to my family and friends for their inspection needs.
