Precision R & R LLC – Steve

I have used both Jim & Steve on numerous occasions and the results have been wonderful each time. It is especially important to me to have accurate estimates prior to the work being done and not once have they gone over budget unless I changed something. They have done great remodel and restoration work at my own home and for several of my clients who would gladly welcome them back.

*At first it was great– they arrived 3 hours after I called them to set up the dry out equipment.
. Then things took a turn for the worse!!!
** Precision was a No Show for Appointments– And when they did arrive they took numerous phones calls and did not address the issues we needed to complete. They even had clients meet them at my home!!!
** They claim to use custom made cabinet’s and later I found out they were not– Steve said I needed to spend an additional $ 8000.00 to raise my kitchen window in order to fi my cabinets in, only to come back several weeks later to say could not get a window widen enough to fit my area. Found out they were charging me several THOUSANDS more for a window they were purchasing from Home Depot– Custom window??? Also there would have been quite a bit of wasted space in my kitchen for «fillers’ since the cabinets only came in specific sizes— CUSTOM cabinets??? Definitely NOT!!!
** I paid them a $ 5000.00 deposit hoping to motivate to show up and get the reconstruction project stated. NO SUCH LUCK. I had to fight for 6 weeks to get a refund of my check which they had cashed immediately. I was also told I needed to pay them for their sub-​contractor coming to my home to measure the kitchen window which THEY could NOT replace! I recused they had to know BEFORE they send the window people out they did not make a window 12 feet wide!!!
** Precision kept back $ 501.00 for Dry wall repair costs– note they just replaced a 4 X6 area of Drywall — did not even finish the texturing correctly and never painted
** They charged my Insurance Company for 4 days for their equipment being in my home when in fact it was less than 70 hours not the 96 hour they bill and got paid by my Insurance Company. Precision also billed my Insurance Company and got paid –a $ 96.00 Debris Hauling fee for less than 16 sq. feet of laminating flooring and 8 sq. feet dry wall. They NEVER cleaned-​up the wet Insulation off my doors and walls even thought that was included in their Emergency Clan Up Fees!
