Established in 2009.

One Take Photography started in Orem, Utah and is now located in Herriman, Utah. We offer radiant engagement photography, majestic bridal photography, timeless wedding photography, and can capture any of your important moments. Using the beautiful backdrops that Utah County and Salt Lake County provide, photographer Emily Bonilla has a knack for blending the surroundings and her patrons into superb portraits.

Emily has always been enamored with the art of photography and has experimented with lighting, various angles, and diverse compositions to develop a unique, yet classic style. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in art history and is the photographer for One Take Photography.

One Take Photography is driven by her ambition to provide incomparable photos and portraits that will indelibly capture special occasions – at reasonable prices.

Emily did an amazing job with our family pics! I have always done studio indoor pics so this time I did outside ones, and Emily really captured exactly what I was looking for. She is great with kids and can keep them distracted to get all the shots you need. She is sweet and really fun to work with! I recommend onetakephotography to anyone!

In June, we retook some of our wedding photos with Emily after finding her in a Google search. She was easy to work with and even drove out to Memory Grove in SLC from her home in Riverton for the photos.
Then in July, I contacted her again to take some shots for a business website and it was great to work with her again! She make the experience very comfortable and can make you laugh even when you’re feeling awkward!
She is quick to email you links to photo teasers on her Facebook page and within a short time, you’ll have your photos on a personalized CD.
Her prices are very reasonable! Highly recommended!

Emily’s photos of our wedding were awesome. The colors were amazing, and she was able to capture a number of really memorable candid shots that we weren’t expecting. The framing and overall look to the photo set was also just generally cooler than your average dull set of wedding photos. They captured the event really well.
She also was able to blend in with the rest of the wedding perfectly — due to the general chaotic /​disorderly /​crazy nature of these events, it was extremely appreciated to not have to worry about another person darting in and out taking photos.
And she was incredibly easy to work with — great communication, and really fast turnaround on actually getting the photos back. Can’t recommend highly enough!
