I go to this hobby shop a lot because it is close to my house. My problem is that they never have the items I am looking for. I fly fixed wing and quadcopters but it doesn’t matter what I’m looking for as accessories, specific battery, ESC, bullet connector, prop, frame part, foam, etc, they are out of stock. Maybe I’m just unlucky but I’ve given them so many chances to take my money but eventually have to go somewhere else. I think it’s a shame because they could be soooo much better. They couple that runs it are fairly knowlegeable, they know what I’m looking for, they just don’t have it.

These guys are awesome! Amazing customer service. You don’t find that type of service many places these days. Great selection. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. The owner made awesome recommendations and let me know if I didn’t need something. Most folks would have just taken my money. I’ll do business with them for life.

I love this place. Knowledgable staff. Khang knows his stuff, planes(scale or 3d), heli, and FPV. I am a plane enthusiast and have purchased several planes and accessories from here. They will even help you build your stuff in the shop. I was there in the shop earlier today and witnessed a guy come in and complain because they wouldn’t take back a $ 90 hex that had defiantly been flown and crashed. People are rediculous! Keep up the good work!

The Crew at k&c are very knowledgable & helpful & won’t sell you stuff you don’t need or junk. No one knows more about helis and multi-rotors & drones than these guys. Thanks for all your help with my projects. Scott

This place sucks. I tried to return an item and they refused to take it back, stating their return policy that is no where to be found unless you TRYTORETURNSOMETHING. Overpriced and terrible customer service.

I’ve only recently started patronizing this shop. The owner and his wife are extremely helpful. I fly helicopters on a regular basis but am new to quadcopters. I purchased a DJI flame wheel from K&C Hobbies and assembled it in about two nights. The programming was a little complex for me so I spoke with the owner and he told me to bring it in. Once I brought it into the shop for the next three hours the owner worked with me on the programming and getting it set up correctly. He was extremely patient and knowledgable. Once he had it set up correctly, we took it outside and confirmed everything was in working order. As I was there I was also invited to attend an informal weekend fun fly with them. I would not hesitate to recommend this shop to anyone. Jerry C.

K&C always gives me great service. The owners have stayed open late just to take care of the customers in the store. They have some of the best parts for parkzone type planes you will find at any hobby store in the east valley. They are very knowledgable of rc.

The lady ignored me the entire time while talking on the phone. I stood there waiting and just left after few minutes of looking at her. What kind if horrible place is this?

From the reviews, this appears to be the best shop in the valley… or is it? Better make sure you know what you re looking for, so you don’t get robbed! I sent my girlfriend to purchase a 1350 mah 3 cell battery for a glider since she was on that side of town. The staff kindly sold her the most expensive battery they could find without offering her any options or alternatives. After she told me she paid 40+ for a lipo, I called the store, spoke to a rep and asked the price for a 13503 cell lipo, they said $ 22 I then kindly followed up with«why the hell did you sell my girlfriend a 40 dollar battery?!» and you could imagine how the rest of the conversation went. It wasn’t pretty. Taking advantage of someone who doesn’t know any better is not OK in my book. What happened to people being helpful, offering options and supporting one another in the hobby? The RC community is very close and these guys are not enthusiasts but just want to sell you the most expensive thing you’ll buy. Needless to say, I will be taking my business to Duncans and Franks.

Went in one day to look around, kind of asked about the helicopters the lady was not helpful at all and pretty much ignored me as if I didnt belong there. She also told me these were«complex» and that was the end of our conversation. I guess tinkering with these little toys is harder than working on real helicopters… Gave me a chuckle as I left. Too bad I probably wouldve bought something if I could have got some help. Would put zero but 1 is as low as I can go. Needless to say, Ill never go back.

Wow, customer service unparallelled! They sell all of the parts I need for the kit that I bought. I’m going to step up to an audrino quad copter, and they have assured me that even if I don’t buy the frame and motors there, I can get the components, and they’ll give me all of the help I need.

One word… Awesome! Great selection and great service. If they dont have it, they will help you get it. I get all my RC car, plane, and Heli stuff here. Doesn’t get any better.

This is THE place to come for nitro-powered helicopters; nobody else in Phoenix is really supporting them like they do here. The help and advice they’ve given me has been amazingly valuable and they are always friendly and supportive to people just learning to fly. Other strengths are electric helicopters, and nitro and electric planes. Pretty much anything that flies is well-supported here from beginner to expert. Cars and non-flying models are also available. They even have a flight sim you can use in the shop, and have weekend flying get-togethers. Really a shop that supports the hobby rather than just looking to make a buck.
