I would like to thank Dr Sterling and the staff at Asrari Endodontics for such an amazing experience, which is not something that I or many would think to say when getting a root canal. I absolutely despise needles and they treated me with kid gloves the whole way ensuring that I was extremely comfortable. They we great from beginning to end and did great follow up after the care was completed. I will be recommending Asrari Endodontics to everyone that I know. Truly impressed!

I truly wish Dr. Sterling performed regular dentistry as well as his specialized vocation as an Endo. Seriously, we need more dentist like you.
The office team provided the best customer service I have ever experienced; thorough in scheduling, insurance, break down of items and patience with each client as if you are an individual.
Due to the ingredients in regular numbing shots (novacaine), I must use a substitute, of which Asrari Endodontics kindly offered (without any hassle or extra charge). Root canal was painless, despite the lower strength of injections. Very accommodating.
Dr. Sterling is very personable, listens to his patients and follows up with phone calls and written letters. Super impressed by this office overall– from décor to demonstrated professionalism.
I highly recommend Asrari Endodontics. If you live outside the normal traveling distance, it will be worth the mileage, considering you want someone experienced, skilled with a good rapport performing such procedures. Do not settle for anything less. The ambiance and extras that are offered here will really help in your experience. This office consistently receives 5 star reviews for a reason. and it is well deserved.

I’m sorry if you are in need of an endodontist but if you do make the call to Asrari Endodontics. Needing my root canal from 6 years ago retreated I found myself in one of the chairs at 3303 S Lindsay Rd. The procedure went great, listened to Pandora on the iPod touch and went home not feeling the right side of my face. Christmas Eve was the next day, Dr Sterling called to check in on me and I was doing great, Christmas Day went well and then the wheels came off. That night I had a flare up from the infection and then two more on Saturday and again on Sunday. My wife begged me to call at the chance there may be a «nurses line» or something. To my surprise Dr Asrari answered the phone, she listened to my issues, determined I needed a stronger antibiotic and called it in. She let me know what to expect over the next 48 hours and it went exactly as she described. I went back in for my scheduled follow up, Dr Sterling and Ashley did a fantastic sealing me up as I jammed to some more tunes and I was off. As I was writing this Dr Sterling called to check on me again, giving me the opportunity to thank him a tenth time. I don’t wish the pain on anyone but when you have it and need it fixed you have found the place!

This office, the girls, and Dr Sterling were AHH-​MAZING! The office is beautiful but the girls are more amazing, more specifically, Stevi! She is super personable and friendly! I dread dental work, especially root canals… but Dr Sterling and Stevi really relaxed me (as much as possible)!

One word to describe my experience: AWESOME.
No one wants to see an oral surgeon; when I found out I needed a root canal on a tooth that had a crown, I was scared, nervous and in pain from the infected tooth. My dentist called the Asrari office and they were able to see me in 30 minutes! On my drive over, the front office gals worked with my insurance and had a quote with my estimated portion ready when I walked through the door.
The office is amazing; in fact I thought I was walking into a spa. Clean, friendly and efficient, I was taken back to my own room to relax and get ready for the procedure. Dr. Sterling was great – he explained the entire process step by step, and put me at ease (he could tell I was so scared). They have headphones and iPods so you can find your happy place while they perform the work. Throughout the entire procedure, Dr. Sterling checked with me to ensure I wasn’t feeling any pain. Dr. Sterling also was able to prescribe antibiotics after the procedure.
I received after procedure care notes, but more importantly Dr. Sterling personally called me 2 days later to check in and see how I was feeling. But the cherry on top? The hand written thank you note from Dr. Sterling.
Not only is Asrari Endodontics a relaxing and pleasant place to have dental work done, but they also have the best technology, including a 3D X-​Ray machine. Is it bad to say I can’t wait for my next root canal???

Sorry, this is a long one!
I’ve had two visits to Asrari Endodontics, one last year and one just a few days ago. First let me say that I am an absolute CHICKEN when it comes to pain, especially dental pain, so when my regular dentist told me I needed a root canal a year or so ago I was terrified. I’d had a couple of root canals done years ago in another state and they were highly unpleasant experiences. So my dentist referred me to Dr. Asrari and I have to say I was very impressed with everything — from her easy to find office location, to her friendly receptionist and assistants, to the doctor herself.
They welcomed me in, offered water, and took my information. Within a few minutes I was called back where they took xrays and explained everything that needed to be done and all of the costs. I was really nervous, but she really put me at ease.
One thing that I really loved was that they gave me a set of headphones and an Ipod to listen to my choice of music and I really think that helped keep my anxiety down quite a lot since I turned it up so loud I almost couldn’t hear what was going on! :)
Dr. Asrari gave me the shots for local anesthesia and it was almost painless, literally just a little pinch. I got numb pretty quickly after that and they got started. She told me to let her know if I felt any pain or had any concerns, but to be honest, it went so smoothly after that that I almost fell asleep! I kid you not, she was so gentle and there was no pain at all, I just listened to the music and chilled, and was surprised when she told me she was done!
I paid before I left and it ended up costing less than I expected so I was really happy. Also, they do take Care Credit, which I love!
I did have an abscess when I went in so she gave me a prescription for antibiotics and pain killers, and though I did take the antibiotics I did not need the pain killers. I took ibuprofen for 24 hours for the pain, but it was pretty minimal, and that is coming from someone who can’t stand even a little pain. ;)
This last time when I went in I was much more relaxed, but still a little nervous. They welcomed me in and even remembered that I go by a nickname rather than my first name! That surprised (and impressed) me. The receptionist (I can’t remember her name, sorry!) made sure they had my current information and then they took me back and Stevi got me all set up. She was really nice, calm and professional, which I totally needed because I was starting to get jittery at that point!
This time was even easier than the first time. Dr. Asrari came in, looked over my xrays and explained everything to me, including all of my options, then we got started. I put on the headphones and again practically fell asleep! The pain from the initial shot was slightly uncomfortable, but I wouldn’t even call it painful, and I didn’t even feel the rest of the procedure. It went pretty quickly.
This time I didn’t need antibiotics and I didn’t fill my prescription for pain killers. I took a couple of ibuprofen when I got home, but once all the numbness wore off there was no pain or swelling and I’ve been fine since.
They did call me the next day to see how I was feeling and I really appreciate that courtesy! Asrari Endodontics is AWESOME. If I ever need another root canal (hopefully not!) I will most definitely be going back there. They are wonderful, friendly, gentle, and accommodating!

First of all, finding a good dentist is almost impossible these days, and I don’t understand why Unilocal block many 5 star reviews for Dr. Asrari. Well. Unilocal may block my review as well. Who knows.
As an experienced patient who has over 20 teeth root canaled, this is best treatment I experienced so far in USA. I have a long history of tooth problems in my whole life.
I was at other Endodontics office waiting for my appointment and saw a guy ran out like there is an earthquake. I looked them up on Unilocal and find their average 2 star reviews. I got out here immediately. Then I found Dr. Asrari on Unilocal with average 5 star reviews while sitting in the parking lot having a horrible tooth infection.
I decided to call her office and made emergency appointment with her. I was surprised to be able to get 10 minutes of her time the same day after I got out of other Endodontics office. We went over all possible procedures and risks about my problem. She took the x-​ray and did not charge me a penny. How nice!
I decided to go to Taiwan to get other opinions. 3 weeks later, I came back to US with the same feedback from 3 other Taiwanese doctors. I had serious infection in my tooth. It requires complicate treatment or I will lose the tooth.
I called Dr. Asrari and she personally called back two days later went over the procedures and risks with me one more time. How many dentist call their patient?
Now three weeks later after two visits, I have my tooth fixed and cleaned. Although I still have risk to get infection and will only know that in the next 6 months, I feel very comfortable about what Dr. Asrari did for me.
The bump and infection went away 2 days after first visit. So it worked so well. I then went to see my family dentist for annual checkup. My dentist told me the hole made on my crown was beautifully small, which means I don’t have to replace my crown.
A simple question pop up in my mind. How many dentists hand you a neck pillow in your treatment in your lifetime? I had just one recently with Dr. Asrari.
Really, if you have such complicate tooth problem like I have, make an appointment with Dr. Asrari to get her second opinion. I glad I did.

My face is still numb as we speak! I was terrified to go to the dentist, especially due to a root canal. I felt so comfortable even just by talking to Victoria and Stevie in the front office. When I went back into the room, Sydney and dr Hegel (sorry if I misspelt that) were very nice and understanding. The procedure went a lot better than I expected. No pain at all, totally comfortable! I would recommend them to anyone who needs to get a root canal. Best place ever!!!

Still cannot stop raving about Dr. Asari and her team. Apparently I’m the defective one with roots that go in all kinds of directions, so what should have been 45 minutes took 2 hours. But she got in there, took care of business, listened to me when I had panic attacks flooding up. She is definitely amazing.

For a normally tense situation, a root canal, the staff at Asrari made it very comfortable and soothed my nerves. Everything was fully explained and even though it didn’t feel good, they made the best of a bad situation by their professional and friendly manner. Dr. Asrari is the best I’ve been to in my 60 years and I’ve had a mouthful of issues over the years. Hope I don’t have to see her again for a long time but if I do I’m sure it will be even better. I recommend this office without reservation.

SWEET ROOT CANAL — Something has to be said about a professional who means to deliver 5-​STAR SERVICE at all cost! Dr. Asrari is such a professional.
After posting my «FIRST IMPRESSIONS» review of my visit to Dr. Asrari’s office, the Doc contacted me personally. She was doleful for the treatment I received on my visit to her office and has extended her services to ‘help make my front office experience just as 5-​STAR as the root canal services, she personally provided to me.
I am certainly one who believes in FIRST IMPRESSIONS and I made no mistake in saying how impressed I was with Dr. Asrari’s chair side manners and professional skills, my humiliation was at the hands of the front desk lady, (Victoria). Dr. Asrari has assured me that she is working to extend her 5-​STAR energy beyond the structure and endodontics procedural care area to radiate in the lobby and front desk as well.
I’m sure that will be easy to do, as this woman is one of the best doctors I have ever met — PERSONALLY.
I’m just a consumer of services, I know that being perfect (in service) is hardly realistic, but I have not ever had a business owner (who wasn’t personally at fault) contact me with so much genuine concern and integrity regarding my consumer woes, as she did. She possessed so much of it, I felt compelled to come back to Unilocal and let you know more about the good Dr. at ASRARI ENDODONTICS.
If you’re looking for a root canal procedure, anyone can do that, but if you’re looking for a doctor that truly cares beyond protocol and dollars— HANDS DOWN! It’s Dr. Asrari!

If I need an endodontist, this is the one I will use — honest, gentle, patient, extremely knowledgeable and kind (and a great staff to boot)! Her assistant, Carla, was friendly and knowledgeable and immediately put me at ease and assured me that Dr. Asrari was all I had read about online and been told by a friend of mine who had raved about her. I am such a scaredy-​cat, especially of endodontists and I completely trusted her! I went to her for a 2^nd opinion and she told me that based on what she saw, there was no retreat needed for a tooth another dentist told me I should have assessed. Her honesty and integrity are top notch and I will be recommending her to anyone I know who needs an endodontist!

Dr Asrari is great. She has taken great care of many of my patients including my husband. I am a dentist in Gilbert and we refer patients to her office all the time. She is gentle and professional.

This endondonic is the best ever, I have had 4 root canals and she is the best if you need a root canal do not have it done anywhere else she does not HURT you in anyway, very gentle, she is great and her staff is also the best, love them, thank you for a wonderful experience… she has done 2 of my root canals the other ones where terrible, but the one she did where great compared to the other ones…

My dentist told me i needed to redo my root canal on my aching tooth that was done 5 yrs ago and recommended Asrari Endodontics. As I arrived at my appointment, I was told that i will be attended by Dr. Walker. He expalined the whole procedure and the what-​nots. They took an Xray of my tooth and proceeded on the redo. they retook an xray to see the tooth and its root and saw there was a gap. Dr. Walker said it would take a minute to refill it. After another xray, it looked filled.
A week later my tooth was still hurting like hell! I tried to schedule an appointment, but was told the only available time would be in 2 days… WTF? My tooth was really aching. I guess they dont really care about patients. Took some Motrin to ease the pain. Rescheduled for the week after.
After a week of suffering, came to appointment to see Dr. Asrari attending — Dr. Walker was on vacation! She explained that the ache was caused by the original root canal and seems she was making a lot of excuses. She wasnt even looking at me when she was explaining. She prescribe me some penicillin. it worked for a while, but about a month later, it still hurts.
It was expensive with a lot of disappointment. I will NOT recommend them. It may be an isolated incident, but if you ask me — HELL NO!

I recently had a root canal done by Dr. Walker at Asrari Endodontics. I arrived to my appointment very nervous and in a lot of pain. Fortunately, Dr. Walker quickly put me at ease with a few light-​hearted jokes. I had a root canal in the past, and thought I knew what to expect (some pain during the procedure, followed by a few days of soreness). I am happy to report that I was wrong! Dr. Walker thoroughly explained the procedure, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. My root canal was virtually pain free, and the following day I had little to no discomfort. For someone who dreads going to the dentist, it was surprisingly a very good experience!
I hope to not need any more root canals in the future, but if I do I will make sure they’re done by Dr. Walker. He made what could have been a scary experience, no big deal. I was comfortable, pain-​free, and on my way in about an hour. Thanks, Dr. Walker! :)

Was referred to Dr. Asrari by a coworker who testified «she has angel fingers!» He had calcified roots and needed a root canal and had such a great experience under Dr. Asrari’s care. I am forever grateful to my two coworkers and to Dr. Asrari for their assistance!
I was in tears Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving, when I couldn’t schedule an emergency visit with the endodontist I was referred to by my dentist at Laveen Dental. Even after three calls that day, the soonest I could see him was Tuesday ¹²⁄₀₂. It was then when two angels, in the forms of my coworkers, informed me of the miracle that is Dr. Asrari. All it took was a phone call from my coworker and I secured the first appointment the day after Thanksgiving!
After I was greeted and handed out forms by the competent and friendly Shadolyn, I was soon reclining on the MOST COMFORTABLE piece of furniture I’ve EVER been on*. Then again, I hadn’t been able to sleep for more than 90 minutes at a time since waking up at 8a on 11÷26− 5 hours or less total; my throbbing toothache radiated pain the entire left side of my head and the storm also affected my sinuses. Saying that I was not a happy camper is an understatement :(BUT 90 minutes later, I was all smiles! Well, as much as one could smile after being given an anesthetic three times, anyway! I was told to wait an hour before eating anything to allow the temporary filling to set. Oh yes, I, who could not even think of eating anything on Turkey Day, was enjoying a delicious tom kha gai, chicken red curry with jasmine rice, and a Thai iced tea 90 minutes after having undergoing my first root canal :)
Thank you, Dr. Asrari and Shadolyn, for making the process relatively painless and stress-​free! Another bonus– I didn’t even need any painkillers afterwards! I am waiting until all other necessary procedures are finished to come back and update this review to 5 stars…
BTW, they do emergency visits!
*Addendum: Today’s (12÷2÷8) visit to test-​drive a new dentist confirms that Asrari’s patient’s chaise lounge is definitely a newer and more-​expensive piece of equipment! (Sadlon’s offering is the standard utilitarian dental chair.) Indeed, a smart investment decision by Asrari’s marketing dept. I want to know where I can get chairs and beds made with this material!
