Art Intersection, located on the second floor of the Heritage Court Building in Downtown Gilbert, Arizona, provides a space for learning, creating and exhibiting photographic art. The Gallery and The Photographic Arts Lab spaces provide three galleries, wet darkroom, alternate photographic processes lab, digital lab, and a hands-on modern classroom.
History
Established in 2011.
Since our opening in January 2011, we have had eighteen exhibitions with over 500 artists showing their work. Our workshops have included platinum printing, Photoshop, digital printing, and wet plate collodion.
The Phoenix New Times awarded Art Intersection The Best New Gallery 2011 and The Best Place to See Photography in 2012.
