The Parsonage Bed & Breakfast

Nice bedroom, terrifically friendly hosts, and great location. I was surprised they had so few reviews because they have been doing this for 6 or 7 years. So to help right that situation I just wanted to emphasize other positive feedback.
Gig Harbor is probably a one nights stay for most. There isn’t a lot to do that you couldn’t do on a one night stay. Down the hill and to the left is the swanky restaurant, Anthony’s. We stopped in there for drink. If you could get a window seat you would have a superb view of the harbor. But without a reservation that wasn’t happening on a Friday night. We then backtracked to the point we turned left where the B&B road forks and this time went right about ½ mile along harbor to the Tides Tavern. All this was walking, which is a big plus. Anyway the Tides was also packed on a Friday night but it was a bit cool so we and 2 or 3 others sat on the deck which was fabulously peaceful and beautiful.
There is a boutique distillery on the road to the tides and that was fun to drop into.
On Saturday on our way out of town we stopped at the Saturday Market. It was a bit early for much of a produce selection (this was April) but there was a good selection of prepared foods and craft.
All in all the Parsonage is highly recommended for a delightful 24 hrs in Gig Harbor.

Honestly one of the best B&B experiences ever! The house and grounds are beautiful, homey and clean. It’s close enough to walk into town. The hosts are wonderful! I felt like I was staying with old friends. I have a touchy diet and they asked ahead if there were any dietary needs which were completely accommodated. I highly recommend this wonderful little getaway!

Beautiful and quiet home situated in a great Gig Harbor location. John and Mary are always the most gracious hosts insuring that our stays are relaxing and enjoyable. Easy walking distance to the harbor and all of the stores. A hidden gem here.

What a wonderful find in the beautiful town of Gig Harbor! We’d searched for a place to stay near Hood Canal that had a hot tub and The Parsonage was one of very few that met that criterion. The owners are a very friendly and delightful couple (John & Mary) who truly wanted to make sure we felt right at home and had a wonderful time. The hot tub was perfect, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious and filling. The beautifully remodelled house is very near the Gig Harbor waterfront and has two rooms for guests, and two bathrooms to share. The night we stayed another couple was in the other guest room and we had the most enjoyable conversations with them… we became fast friends over an evening conversation and again at breakfast the next morning. Before we left The Parsonage in the morning, John showed us his player piano and all the rolls of music he has for it and then had it play «Sleepless in Seattle» for us. Thank you, John & Mary, for a very memorable and delightful stay!
