G3 Electrical Services Inc

Stay away from G3 Electrical Services Inc. or any company affiliated with Linda Melnyk (owner). I placed a deposit with them but after I started to hear about some highly questionable business practices I requested a refund – no work had been done, no material ordered, not even a start date set. Linda sent me an e-​mail stating she would refund my money within 30 days because she didn’t have the money available (though that deposit money should have been for materials and labor so it should have been available for refund) and stating I could accept her e-​mail as a «binding contract». 30 days came and went and no refund. She won’t return my e-​mails, and her company phone number isn’t ringing through anymore. I think took the money and ran, but just in case anyone is looking up G3 Electical Services or is considering hiring an electrical contractor with someone named Linda Melnyk running the place, I thought I’d share my experience to assist in your making an informed decision – I wish someone had done the same for me!
Update: I filed a complaint with the Attorney General and Linda Melnyk supplied the Attorney General with an unsigned copy of «our contract» which conveniently stated deposits were non-​refundable. Fortunately I still had the the original copy which was e-​mailed by her office which did NOT state this – she sent a fraudulent copy of our contract to the Attorney General!
The name again is LINDA MELNYK. Do NOT do business with her. I have two colleagues who have used her company who have both had very negative experiences and in neither case did she complete the work she was paid for.
