Our practice proudly serves Riverview, Apollo Beach, Gibsonton, South Shore, Sun City, Brandon, Valrico and the surrounding areas. Riverview Eye Care and its Doctors are dedicated to ensuring your experience is stellar throughout your whole visit.

Our mission is to provide the highest quality eye care and promote the preservation of healthy vision. Our office has two knowledgeable doctors and friendly staff members dedicated to fulfilling all of your eye care needs including: comprehensive eye exams, glasses & designer frames, contact lenses, diagnosis, management and treatment of eye disease such as macular degeneration, glaucoma, cataracts and emergency eye care.

We are conveniently located 1.5 miles west of St. Josephs Hospital-​south on Big Bend Road.

I have been wearing glasses since I was in the 2nd grade and let me tell you, Riverview Eye Care provided the best experience thus far! It has been difficult to find an optometric physician that I could completely trust and believe that they have my best interest at heart until now. Everyone was personable and willing to help. Dr. Stryker and Dr. Nehaul were very knowledgable and was able to answer all my questions about the health of my eyes. They have a great selection of frames which are also very reasonable. I’m not sure of the lady’s name that helped me with selecting the right frames for me but she was amazing! She asked me what I was looking for and while I was getting my exam completed she had a variety of frames preselected for me to try. Highly recommended!

What an AMAZING place. I have struggled over the years with finding an eye care place that I was ok going back to a second time. Normally we try a new one every year, but I can honestly say… this is the one. The doctors are friendly, personable, and professional. There is a wide selection of frames and when it comes to options the doctors are knowledgable in all the latest trends. I definitely will be back here for my next appt.

What a great experience! After years of bouncing between eye care locations, I have finally found one I can call home! The experience was very personal and I felt valued, not just like a number or way to a paycheck. They are very knowledgeable and helpful from start to finish. I could not recommend Riverview eye care enough. You won’t be disappointed.

Dr. Nehaul preformed my eye exam. He was very friendly and answered all my questions and concerns. The interior is very modern. I ended up purchasing my glasses from there because of the quality and customer services. I have a lot of people praising my glasses and asking me where I got them. If you want to get your eye exam and update your old glasses. This is the place to go!

As soon as I walk in the front desk lady named Jennifer greeted me and was very warm and welcoming. Making my appointment was easy over the phone, because they also take my insurance. After doing my paperwork, they were ready to take me right away! I talked to both Dr. Stryker and Dr. Nehaul, they are both very professional and very knowledgable with their work. Dr. Stryker was the one who did my exam, and she was very patient and seemed to care about my wants and needs.
The office is very clean and organized with a wide array of lenses to choose from. In the waiting room they had a coffee maker and cold waters in the fridge. I love this new office and have decided to make them my primary eye doctors!

Riverview eye care recently opened, and I am glad they did. If I could, I would give this place ten stars. I usually don’t like to visit doctors but getting my eyes checked couldn’t have been easier. It was easy to make an appointment, they took my insurance, both of the optometrists were friendly, there was very little wait, and they had a wide array of eye glasses to choose from. I am seeing so much better now than I used to! I can’t wait to come back!
