For the past two years, the Board of Directors for my young professional group have gone to this B&B for our annual retreat. We spend the day in the lodge making our goals for the year. It’s a perfect meeting spot for the 12 of us, laid back in the middle of nowhere just North of Pittsburgh. The owner provided a great breakfast spread, as well as, sandwiches for lunch, and a homemade quiche with zucchini and leeks from their garden. If you’re looking for a local getaway — this is a great option!

Outstanding, elegant B&B on a horse farm northeast of Pittsburgh. We stayed in the Log Cabin, an old building with modern features and plenty of room. The owners were very hospitable. Tara made an excellent breakfast. I think most anyone — «horse person» or not — will find staying at S&C to be a hugely positive and enjoyable experience.
