If you’re in the market for wine and live in Germantown/Collierville, this is the place you need to go!

What a cute little place! Not at all what I expected in the burbs… ok, maybe it is exactly what I expected in the burbs… nice, slightly pretentious, and a bit more expensive than what you’d like. The staff is very helpful and it definitely has its own personality even though it is in a strip mall in Germantown. That’s all I got folks… short and sweet.

It smells like a Laser Tag arena inside, with probably a bit too much dust. Don’t be fooled though, this is a great liquor store with probably the best big beer selection in Germantown. The key here is the service. The gentleman I’ve always seen inside is a paragon of how customer service should work. If you just want to browse on your own he’s happy to let you, but if you ask for advice he provides very, very informative and helpful tips that are sufficient to sate your curiosity but not long-winded enough to become dull. The beer selection is decent to good(for Memphis). Though the bottles do look rather dusty, *everything* in this store is dusty and I’ve never tasted anything that seems like it’s past its prime. They also have some interesting ciders including one from Indiana I had never seen before. Prices are a bit higher than elsewhere, but you can buy individual bottles rather than six-packs. If I don’t want to drive to Midtown and find myself along the Germantown Parkway corridor, I’m definitely headed here for beer needs.

I cannot believe there is only one review for this wine store. I am therefore adding mine. I am originally from Memphis, and moved to Northern California where I fell in love with Napa and Sonoma wines. This place is definitely the most legit wine store I have visited in the Memphis/Germantown/Cordova/Collierville area. Great selections of California wines as well as Bordeaux, great double IPAs, whiskey, and it goes on. They have everything and the guys are super helpful and nice. There are some affordable wines, but what I am typically looking for is more on the high end, and there is quite the selection. I don’t understand why other wine stores can’t stock the basics like Duckhorn, Cade, Dunn, Caymus, Merryvale Profile, etc. i can’t say enough about this place. If you are into high-end California/Bordeaux wines, then this is the only place I have found in the entire area.

This liquor store is nicely laid out with a fairly sizable wine selection. They also have a nice bourbon selection as well. Customer service was spot on with some very good wine recommendations. The prices appear to be in line with the other liquor stores in the Germantown/Collierville area. I’ll definitely be back.
