This includes myofascial release technique (MRT), for the purpose of relaxing tight muscles, improving posture, decreasing pain, improving circulation, aiding in tissue healing, allowing the body to heal, relieving trigger points and nerve restrictions, and improving in overall relaxation and stress reduction. Therapeutic massage offers the perfect complement to chiropractic adjustments to reduce muscle tension that may limit joint movement, as well as hold the effects of your adjustments longer.

History

Established in 2002.

Dr. Brian Lancaster received a Bachelors of Science degree from James Madison Universityand his Doctorate of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College. He has been practicing chiropractic since 1999. In addition to his work as a chiropractor, Dr. Lancaster is also a Physical Examiner for the Baltimore Longitudinal Study on Aging, the longest-​running study on human aging in the United States. The purpose of the study is to determine how people age, as well as the normal and pathological effects that occur throughout life. Over 1,400 participants are currently volunteering for the study.

Outside of work, Dr. Lancaster is also a mountain bike enthusiast. He is the current Mountain Bike captain for National Capital Velo Club (NCVC), the largest amateur racing club on the east coast of the United States. If you are interested in learning more about bicycle riding and racing in the Maryland, Virginia, and D.C. area
