Zaxby’s

When I first heard of Zaxby’s, I was a vegetarian so it didn’t appeal to me. The only non-​meat food option was a lame iceberg lettuce salad meal. Boo. Therefore, this place doesn’t come to mind when I’m looking to forgo healthy foods and chow on something greasy or fried.
I did, however, stop in a few months back when we were dealing with car rentals at Enterprise nearby. I eat meat now (for the time being) and ordered some chicken. The food was quite good although I’m not a fan of the special sauce. Meh. Place was clean — not too many other people eating here at the time. People were friendly… just a tad slow service, but whatever, not an issue for me that day. This is a decent location. That’s all.

Food is good and price is fair but the help really couldn’t care if you were there or not. They were all on phones as we waited several minutes for our food to be called as it sat on the counter

Gotta give this place some love. Better chicken fingers than other fast food places. Service has always been fine and Zax sauce rocks!

Poor service in carry out. Substituted Maranara sauce for BBQ sauce. Said we could come back to store and they would exchange. Very inconvenient, and girl was not particularly apologetic. Chicken was good, however.

First — I’m not really a chicken eater. But, this place is new in town so we thought we’d give it a try.
Being new it was clean and fresh looking inside. It looks much larger inside than from the outside. Free wi-​fi that worked well.
Service was a bit slow, only one register open and quite a few people waiting to be served. But, there are only two registers anyway.
Food was hot and the portions were big. I had chicken fingers plate and it was, I have to admit, very good. The cole slaw was bait dry, could have used some more cole slaw dressing in it.
I’m still trying to decide if I liked the Zax dipping sauce. Sort of like a slightly spicy 1000 Island dressing.
$ 20.00 for three of us to eat. About average in this area.
