Love this place, always find treasures. Records to a Patagonia jacket. The ladies that work here are super friendly and helpful. There are two boutique s selling antiques and higher end clothing. Only paid $ 15 for the Patagonia jacket!

This is one of my favorite places in all of Georgetown. First of all, it’s a great place to browse and spend an hour or so. The Antique boutique is my favorite. True antiques that will remind you of days gone by. The rest of the store is genuine thrift store. I’ve been a customer in many ways. When I first moved to Georgetown I bought inexpensive furniture for the kids and re-did them. Painted and when the kids were done, back to The Caring place they went to live with someone else. Then, after my divorce, I was a customer with a different purpose, I had moved into an empty home and needed living stuff. Most of what I’ve bought has gone back through the channels again. The Ultimate Re-purpose. It’s great for books. My 14 year old daughter refuses to read on an e-reader instead insisting on «tree» books. It feels a lot better to buy a kid a book for $ 1 – 2 dollars than 15 that she’s going to read once. I Also like the way they help the community. I had a friend fall on hard times and the Caring Place helped with her rent and Utilities. A True community treasure.

This is probably my favourite thrift store in the area. Stock comes in and out at a good pace, store is fairly large and well-organized, and prices are actually in line for thrift stores(quite a few area thrift stores are high priced for what they are). My favourite things to look for at thrift shops are vintage books and vintage housewares, and they always have a good selection to pick from!

Love this place! I really like the«boutique» area in the back, with nice antiques and unique items in there. I have bought a LOT of stuff here. And they do great stuff for the community.

Nice thrift store, my mother in law found some nice things here while she was visiting. I also heard the help less fortunate people pay bills and help them with food which I think is great. Need more places like this in our world.

**This is where I pop tags with only 20 dollars in my pocket** Great finds for a great price! This place has always had SOMETHING that I liked enough to buy, plus it supports a great cause! I highly recommend shopping and/or donating to this wonderful organization.

Best thrift store in G’town, hands down! The Caring Place is the largest thrift store I’ve found in the area and their prices are, by far, the lowest. They have 2 boutiques within the store dedicated to higher quality items(brand new designer clothes, and an antique boutique). Prices are low in those too. Wide selection of furniture. Lots of books which are all sorted nicely. Clothing is all organized by type and size. Large section of housewares. Even bedding and linens are all sorted and labeled by size and type, which is unheard of in most thrift stores! Very clean, organized, and enjoyable to shop at. Volunteer run, friendly service. I will definitely be a regular here!
