Pet Sitting by Lynda

Lynda loves pets… and it shows in the level of care she gives to our fur babies! I called several local pet sitters before deciding to meet Lynda at our home to continue our interview and introduce her to our five fur babies. (We have a mix of large, medium and small dogs, plus one very old cat.) Each of them has a «story» which Lynda was very interested in learning in order to accommodate their individual needs. She quickly earned the trust of our Border Collie rescue (Jack) — no easy feat; and she has been careful with our Aussie (Charley) who is nursing a torn ACL.
Whether we just need her for potty breaks, play time or walks; or if we need her for one day or a week, she has always been available to care for our pets. Most importantly, my husband and I are confident she cares about them and understands their needs. After each visit she leaves a detailed report about their activities. We LOVE reading the daily recap of her visits with our boys!
I’ve recommended Lynda to several people and confidently recommend her to you if you want someone who holds a special place in their hearts for furry family members.

Lynda has been sitting my pets for number of years and has just been a life-​saver; she started out caring for my very aged, diabetic Maine Coon cat and gave him excellent care, including multiple meds, the last years of his life, allowing me to take vacations with absolutely no fear or guilt. She also helped (in very big ways) when a very fertile feral calico started having litters on the river bluff behind me; access to the area was very difficult and Lynda lugged traps and food (on a daily basis) to the spot over a period of 2 years; we saved (and neutered and placed) three litters before we got the mama cat and had her neutered. Lynda continues to provide service far beyond and above the call of duty for my recently acquired Maine Coon (who escaped my care shortly after I got him, and was ultimately caught by Lynda!). No words can express my gratitude for you excellent help; she is not only good at what she does, but she is totally committed to animals and their owners.

I strongly recommend using Lynda for Pet Sitting/​Walking. She has been walking my dogs daily and is so reliable. she hasn’t cancelled on me one time and is also available for last minute changes in my schedule. Another great service is she leaves detailed notes about observations she makes while they are walking and how my 2 little dogs interact .I love it!). For example, one of my dogs was sick last week and I wouldn’t have known if Lynda didn’t point it out.
I have also used her for Pet Sitting on multiple occasions for for a short trip and will continue to do so in the future.
As you can tell, I have nothing but great things to say about her.

I can’t say enough good things to say about Lynda’s service! She is such an animal lover, she gives my 2 dogs and 3 cats special attention, suggests helpful products that Ive not been aware of, keeps me informed daily about them, cleans cat-​boxes, turns lights on and off, and even brought plants inside when a surprise freeze was due to happen while I was gone! I don’t worry about my babies when Lynda’s taking care of them. I just miss them, as usual.

Being new to the area when we needed the services of a Pet Sitter, we took a chance and hired Lynda based on ad in the yellow pages. We were reassured by the fact that she is bonded and insured. It was not a mistake.
She has provided us with service three times this first year in Georgetown and have been very happy. She not only takes care of the feeding and cleanup with our cats, but spends enough time to allow them out on the screen porch for a little play time.
I believe she generally services Georgetown proper, but if you go to her website, it list the outlying areas that she will work. It also gives you a list of her charges for various levels of service which are very reasonable for good service.
If you can schedule her services, you will not be disappointed.
