K and K Salon Nails Spa

I found Marcia and KK salon just after moving to Georgetown two years ago. The service has been fabulous and I always feel appreciated. A huge bonus is the fact that Marcia has the training to put in my hair extensions. Her prices are great and the quality of work is exceptional!

I moved to Georgetown 3 months ago and decided to start with the salon closest to my home. I didn’t need to keep looking! I’ve been to Marcia 4 times now. I have always been totally satisfied with the mani and pedi services and I love visiting with her!

I have been a customer here for over a year. Both my daughter and I love it! We always feel welcome, the conversation is light and friendly and the services are great.

I have been to this salon twice and the second time I needed to get nails painted for an interview I had the next day and I was short on cash. Let me tell you I was blown away when owner painted my nails for Free! Now I don’t say that to expect any favors in return or everyone who reads this to take advantage. I truly am grateful and I appreciate the extra mile she went to help me. Let me tell you the interview went amazing and I am seriously considering the offer.

Here’s an UPDATE! K&K Nails was notified by Unilocal,I guess about my review and instead of them apologizing that a customer that paid over $ 70 had a bad experience, someone named Dat M, messaged me on Unilocal being completely rude and unprofessional, stating that I had «personal problems» and continued to message me after I said for them to stop harassing me, Dat M went on to say that he/​she looked at the camera footage and did not see me in their salon and that my name was no where in their books. I’m just blown away by their lack of professionalism.

Called for an appointment the next day and they said they could take me right now if I was available. Yippee! Very nice place and a top notch pedi. They offered me wine and water, selected just the right massage set for the chair, trimmed my toes better than I have had done in forever, did a great foot and leg massage, and a beautiful nail color job. I strongly recommend this place. Super service that is worth your time and your money (and the price was so reasonable).

My wife and I have been here twice. Both times they did a very thorough job on our feet with just, what I consider, the right amount of nail trimming. We’ll go again, which is very telling as both of us are extremely picky.

I have been going to Marci since she opened and when I saw a bad review of her on Unilocal I was amazed! A bad experience with Marci? I mean, sure, you can be unhappy with anything in life, but I question whether this person actually told her she was unhappy! My experience with Marci is that she really wants her customers to be happy and when I have asked for something to be adjusted to my liking, she couldn’t have helped me any quicker to figure out how to do so. I have to smile at the reviewer who said her mom can be «difficult» as I am sure I am considered a difficult customer as well. I do like to get my pampering just how I like it and speak up when it is not exactly right. There are many places to go in Georgetown to get your nails done, but I don’t think anyone will treat you as nicely as Marci! The atmosphere is very relaxed and peaceful and the massage chairs are a delight! Marci gives a lovely massage as part of your nail service, too! The sign of the place may say TQ nails from the previous owners, but this gem on Leander road by the Office Bar is not to be missed!

I live clear on the other side of town, but I wanted to take my mother to get a pedicure for her birthday, so I looked up a few places close to her. I decided on TQ Nails and am SO glad I did. They really went above and beyond to make her feel super special on her special day. We were put into the chairs right away, no wait… then were offered a complimentary beverage! This has NEVER happened to me at another salon. She was very happy with the young man who did her pedicure, and the gentleman who did mine was SUPER thorough and gentle, didn’t hurt me once! They had a nice book for us to go through and choose our services. It was all very clear, and explained exactly what each package offered. Very cool. The staff was super helpful and talkative. Not a lot of chatter in another language… you know, that «why am I paying $ 40 to listen to these people talk about me in another language?» feeling. :) My mom noticed there was a chair set up for cuts and asked about a trim. Since it was her birthday, I opted to let her try it out. Again, glad we did! My mom can be… um… «difficult», and this woman listened carefully, reiterated what she understood to make sure they were on the same page, and then did exactly what my mom was asking for! Perfect!
Overall, a great place! Courteous service, did thorough and clean work, and even put on some happy birthday tracks for my mom’s special day! Oh, and the price was very reasonable!

Clean, friendly, and reasonably priced on south side of Georgetown. You can’t beat the prices or the quality of the work. Marcia easily filled my nails and made them look great, when other places would have suggested taking off the old and putting on a new set. Going back next week for a pedicure.

My husband and I have both been to this new business. Marcia, the owner, is wonderful. She gave us both the best pedicure that we have ever had. She uses very good products. Her pedicures are painless and perfect. She also cut my husbands hair, he really likes the cut and trimming. I am looking forward to a facial and eyebrow wax this week. This place is definitely an asset to the Georgetown community.
