Description

Specialties

Welcome to Grace Riding Stables. Conveniently located off I-35 or toll road 130 on the North side of Georgetown TX, our family owned and operated facility is off the road and home to over 30 horses and ponies; a wonderful mix of lesson horses, boarder horses and our own.

We love teaching beginners and getting them started. We do more than teach you to ride; we believe in making sure you know how to act around the horses, to be safe, to tack, groom etc.

Children and adults are welcome at Grace. We specialize in getting children going. Many of our kids show on the local TSSA Hunter circuit. Our adults mainly ride on the flat and we attend local dressage shows.

History

Established in 2007.

Grace Riding Stables is the vision of owners Michael and Paula Jones, to show the love of Jesus to each and every rider, boarder, parent and visitor who comes to Grace. After much prayer and finding this property Grace was started.

We have done so much to improve the property and are continuing to add more structures and improvements as we go.

At Grace we have dedicated ourselves to providing the opportunity for kids that cannot afford lessons the chance to work as working students. Contact us for more details .

Our lessons program is run by Paula and Michael. Michael takes on all the beginners and once they reach a certain level Paula takes them on.

Meet the Business Owner

Paula J.

Business Owner

Paula was born in England and has ridden since the age of 8. In her home land she was a member of the Ashford Valley Pony club and a regular follower of the Ashford Valley hunt. At age 21 she spent a year at Moat House Riding establishment and took the BHSAI certification. In England she was head girl at two stables and taught the BHS working students and public lesson programs also overseeing care of the horses. On moving to the States she has had her own barn for several years and taken students to the local horse trails and hunter/jumper shows. After a break of 8 years, with much prayer and soul searching, she felt the Lord brought her back to the horses and Grace Riding Stables. She is the main instructor and teaches all levels of riding from beginner up, both children and adults. She has a heart for teaching and reaching out to people and horses. Paula is joined in teaching and horse care by her husband, Michael, also an avid horseman with many years experience.
