Specialties

GES is an electronics recycling company working with both businesses and residents. We also specialize in asset recovery, secure data destruction, managed print services and sales of various items including refurbished computers, computer parts, and ink & toner.

GES does not export electronics overseas and we do not landfill them. We are fully audited by an independant third party known as the Basel Action Network. So are our downstream partners. This guarantees full transparency to our customers.

We are ISO 14 001 and 9001 certified as well as OHSAS 18 001 certified. We are proud members of the BBB and Master level members of KYExcel.

History

Established in 2008.

GES is a leading nationwide electronics recycler with a state of the art 70,000 square foot facility in Kentucky’s heartland. We are a zero landfill and zero exporting electronics recycler. That means zero for our clients to worry about. GES is transparent, therefore our customers are too. We track your data, as can you. We offer you full disclosure. And nothing gets away from us.

You’d be hard pressed to find a group of people who take responsibility as seriously as the men and women of GES. We follow a solid foundation of basic principles: environmental stewardship, exceptional customer service, and economics ethics.

We’re setting the standard for all others to follow. Get on board.

At GES, we understand responsibility.

Meet the Business Owner

Kenny G.

Business Owner

Kenny Gravitt, a Lexington, Kentucky native, began his career in the electronics industry with IBM in 1974. He worked his way up the ladder performing various roles from team leader to Senior Director of Electronic Equipment and Asset Management. Kenny continued to work for IBM until his retirement in 2006.

Post retirement, Kenny found he had a lot of skills and knowledge about the electronics industry as well as a strong desire to do the right thing for the environment and for our neighbors in underdeveloped nations who are often contending with the disaster that improperly disposed of electronics can elicit.

Inspired with a new purpose, Kenny founded GES in 2008, guaranteeing to his customers that electronics will be recycled in an ethical way, assets will be recovered in the most economically beneficial route, and data will be destroyed in the securest manner.

Now leading a workforce five times the size of his original followers, GES has nationwide capacities.
