I hate that place worse than sin itself. I can’t stand the owner and the staff. He is so rude and hateful. They are nice to your face to get your money but God forbid if you have to leave an elderly person there by themselves for a bit while they eat and you run and errand. They will chase you down and kick that elderly right out of their restaurant. I HATEEVERYTHINGABOUTTHISPLACE!!!

It should be 10 stars. This place has overtaken Matt’s El Rancho as my favorite Mexican restaurant in central texas. The queso and cheese enchiladas are perfect… everytime.

Tasty Tex-Mex. The mole,(pronounced moh-leh) enchiladas and tortilla soup are delicious. The salsa is weak and it’s not even remotely spicy. My guess is if they made the salsa taste good and spicy like it’s supposed to be the majority of Dos Salsas patrons would complain and start sweating. This review is mostly on how bad the salsa is, it’s so bland that the majority of white folks would say it’s spicy. The salsa tastes like a can of crushed tomatoes that have been garnished with lime, cilantro and onion. Where is the heat?

Went out with my friend for a late dinner. The food was pretty good, my steak was over done a little… Well kinda a lot, but it’s okay cause it still tasted alright. Our server Stephan was really nice and came back to check on us often and didn’t make fun of me for mispronouncing the menu as it is in Spanish. The bartender made a tasty mudslide aswell. Good place with friendly people and good food

We came here on a weekend with a long line ahead of us. The waitress assured us it would be only 8 – 9 minutes. It was just five minutes. Once we sat down, we had excellent service and the food was out of this world good. It was authentic and tasty, the service however was exemplary given how busy it was. You might have thought you were the only person in the place. Jeaninne and I will be in Georgetown much, much more.

Dos Salsas is a solid, if uninspired, Tex-Mex joint. I had the stuffed pechuga, and it was quite filling. The cook/chef. owner needs to realize that excessive cheese is just as bad as not enough cheese. The cheese was excessive, and I’m a cheese lover. The flavor was good, but nothing extraordinary. The food comes out quite quickly even on a busy night, which leads me to believe that the majority of the entrees are excessively pre-prepped, dolloped with cheese, flash melted, and served. The margarita was small for the price, and very average. Would I eat here on occasion? Sure… but I’m not raving about it. SCORE: B

Hubbs and I had a class up in Georgetown and had less than an hour for lunch at noon. The instructor recommended this place as it was only 5 minutes away. Being a Saturday at noon, parking was challenging as their lot was full and I feared there’d be a wait for a table or it would take forever since the place was obviously busy. A top-notch server, Aleyda, and a very efficient kitchen took care of that worry. We were in and out of there in 35 minutes which was fantastic. Now for the food… Aleyda brought us chips and salsas very quickly. The chips were nice and hot, and the perfect thickness. Both green and red salsas were fresh and delicious. We started with Dos Salsas Queso – queso with pico, guac, and taco meat. The portion was generous and there were no refried beans in it(I hate refried beans in my loaded queso). It was one of the best quesos I’ve had. Hubbs ordered the Enchiladas de Cameron(shrimp) because he judges every Mexican restaurant by that dish. The shrimp were twice the size of what he usually gets at our regular haunt in Pflugerville. He loved the rice that came with the dish, too – not typical traditional Spanish rice at all. I ordered the poblano queso flameado for lunch and it didn’t disappoint, served flaming tableside. Lots of fresh poblano pepper in there and the bacon was nice and chunky – not thin little pieces. There were no «filler» onions which was nice. Overall it was a great experience and we’ll make the trip up to Georgetown again just for the sole purpose of eating there. I’m looking forward to being able to take my time when I don’t have somewhere I need to be.

Love this place. Great service and everything I’ve tasted has been delicious. The only big downside is that there is only breakfast until 11. It’s pretty standard but disappointing. They also charge extra for every little thing. That said the food is fabulous. The two salsas are green and red. I am totally addicted to their green salsa! They are very generous with their beverages. They always offer me a big one to go. It’s a good place. Wish full menu was available earlier but other than that it is a great spot.

I had the chicken mole. It was pretty good, even though it didn’t look very appetizing, but they forgot to add the peanuts. The waitress was nice but not around very often and forgot about one of the drinks.

If nothing else the food is always consistently consistent. You just need to find the item on the menu that you think is great and stick with it. Chipotle pechuga is spicy and amazing!

Ordered pickup from here… First time I’ve ever tried the food and my chicken tacos came without chicken. That’s right… Two empty hard taco shells. Good job Dos Salsas! Of course it was all packaged up and that was at the bottom so I didn’t open until I got home. Thanks.

The queso is fabulous– con carne! Fresh tortillas, salsa is great, drinks are great and the patio setting is refreshing on evening outings. Why not five stars, the wait staff could use a pick me up.

The original and the best. I’ve had many dishes here and never a disappointment. Usually, it’s the fajitas, but today it was the migas. All are great. Somehow this café maintains the«shucks, neighbor, ya’ jus’ drop in?» friendly feeling. I never get an argument when I suggest to my better half that we should eat here. Come early. Otherwise, you may not find a parking place.

On my «LAST» visit I was served rancid, rotten meat in my tamale, and given no apology. They took the dinner off my bill, but the manager could not even be bothered to acknowledge the mistake. Too many customers to care? Ever since they expanded with a second location their quality has diminished drastically and have only raised their prices along the way. They are obviously more concerned about Quantity, then Quality. In the words of Gordon Ramsay, They are going to kill somebody.

Been coming for a few years now for lunch and dinner, nothing ever disappoints, plus the Rita’s are killer. Today did breakfast, and the same as lunch and dinner it was great, had migas with beef fajita, beef cooked prefect and great char taste, migas with cheese was a home run hitter as well, melted cheese and sauce were great comb, retried beans were creamy and flavorful. Tortillas were some sort of mass produced kind, not so good, more like rubber. Good service.

Our first time here and we really enjoyed food and environment. We were seated outside and this place was busy! The service was great, our chips, salsa and drinks were always filled. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. Food portions are generous at a decent price. See pictures for proof.

Dos Salsas is a popular place in Georgetown. It’s always just been OK for me. There are times I’ve not liked what I’ve gotten and times its not been bad. The not bad times I’ve gotten something like tacos. The atmosphere is nice. Though there is frequently a wait and we have noticed that we get passed over, even when being there first, for people who are associated with the staff. This can be rather frustrating when waiting for a bit. No doubt we will go again. It’s nice that it’s one of the few places open past 9:00 pm on a weekday since our schedule can be unpredictable and run late.

A couple girlfriends and I got take out from here for the first time a few nights ago. The time between placing the order and getting the food was reasonable — especially for a busy Saturday night. The prices were fair for the amount of food given. We got an order of chips and salsa. It came with one red salsa and one green. The red is your standard restaurant-level heat, but that green one is mega hot. I like hot, and I liked the flavor, but it did make my nose run and I couldn’t eat a lot of it. We also got stuffed jalapeños, which were good. The breading was really thick on those. And they layered the ranch dipping sauce with some other red Mexican sauce that I wasn’t prepared for, and could have done without. I got the Chicken Chipotle, which was very good. The smokey chipotle flavor was very prominent. I also got a dinner salad with it. It was your typical iceberg side salad, not bad. Overall we had a great experience with our take out.
