The chicken was very good, and the service was fast and friendly and the store was clean, but the sides have a lot to be desired. The mash potatoes taste like they are from an instant mix, and the coleslaw was inedible. I’d likely come again bit only for the chicken.

We love our Bush’s fried chicken. The manager is so helpful and friendly. They certainly do help our community and the schools. Thanks Bush’s!

My boyfriend was craving chicken so we decided to try Bush’s for the first time. We usually prefer canes or chicken express but this is near our new apartment and we have never been. We were very disappointed in our meal, to say the least. We went through the drive thru today(Sunday) at 2:30pm and ordered an 8 piece mixed, crispy chicken salad, sweet tea and a family size mac-n-cheese. We live one light away and as soon as we got home we opened the box and dug in. The chicken was super cold, the mac runny and flavorless, the sweet tea was most definitely sitting out all day(it’s beyond terrible) and they did not include sauce, napkins or silverware in the bag. With so many other fast food options around we will probably not be returning.

Had to wait what I felt was an exceptional amount of time for a ‘normal’ order. If okra and catfish are going to be that big a deal, don’t include them on the menu…

I stopped for the Tuesday deal. I ordered right at 10 o’clock when they were closing. They stayed open for an extra five minutes for me. However, when they brought the food I discovered my billfold was missing. I told them I would bring the money the next day. The next day I went in to pay and the manager would not take my money and said the meal was on them. Thank you ever so much. By the way their chicken strips are terrific. WOW!!!

We live in Round Rock and always have a good experience. However, today we went to the Georgetown location for gizzards today because it is down the street from where I work. The Gizzards are good, but the gravy is horrible. You can tell it has been watered down. When you dip into it, it runs right off and you cannot tell you just dipped into gravy. It is also extremely tasteless. I am disappointed and hope that the round rock location hasn’t watered down its gravy as well. If this is the case, we can go back to paying higher prices at Golden chick where the gravy and chicken have stayed a consistently good quality.** ****************I did speak with a Manager and I will raise to 3 stars just for effort. My Husband and I will return and try again. :) ********* 8÷11÷15 I have gone back to this Bush’s since my original 2, then 3STAR review. I will bump up an additional star since the gravy quality has much improved.

Bush’s was«the place» to go to in Georgetown when they first opened, and were known for a good value, and for supporting Georgetown High. From a quality standpoint, things have gone way downhill. Went for the first time in a while last night. Box reeked of old grease, fries cold and stale, and I’ve had less aggressive solicitations for a tip in third world countries. I heard other locals say the same thing — chicken quality and quantity poor. They have left the market wide open for outsiders like Cane’s.

The service is prompt-both indoors and out-and the chicken is hot and fresh. Pretty good for fast food!

Came out to my car to get order, courteous staff and rec’d food in a reasonable amount of time. The chicken tenders were fresh, hot, and juicy. The fries were nice and crunchy, but the mashed potatoes were excellent! The best I’ve had in a chicken restaurant. The restrooms were clean as well.

Donated blood at Scott & White clinic in Georgetown. Received a card for a free meal at Bush’s Chicken. Went to the Williams Deive location and was told, «sorry but we don’t participate.»

Chicken Livers are pretty darn delicious — and they give you a TON. Mashed potatoes are also really good, but I would pass on the Mac’n cheese.

Those were more like chicken nuggets than tenders. Your famous tea tastes like water.
