History

Established in 1973.

Starting out as a young technician, the president of Broward Factory Service, Crockett Herd, was working as an electrician and taking advantage of any overtime opportunities he was offered to support his family. It was at this time, in 1973, that Mr. Herd decided he wanted to branch out and provide complete household services to families in the Broward County area. Mr. Herd approached condominiums and homeowner’s associations with this idea and with his hard work, evident integrity, and passion for helping families, Broward Factory Service was born. Over the past forty two years Broward Factory Service has grown to service 4 states, with 18 local service centers.

One of Mr. Herd’s favorite sayings is «Always treat your customers as you would want your mother to be treated,» and this is what our customer service representatives strive to do each and every day.
