Best Western Plus Georgetown Inn & Suites

Stayed in 3^rd floor room for several days. VERY satisfied with stay, hotel does not have a restaurant or bar but a good breakfast buffet. Very convenient to many local restaurants and Starbucks. Nice and quiet, WIFI was very fast

This is such a GREAT place to stay. The management is the most accommodation team ever. Hotel is clean, convenient and staff is wonderful. If you are coming to Georgetown this is definitely where you should stay!

I’ve enjoyed my stay at best western plus of Georgetown. Couple of things off the bat was the service from Tomeka was great. She went above and beyond for me when I had issues with my room. Offered to had me moved and refrigerated my food when room fridge wasn’t working properly.
She was prompt and attentive which is huge for a business traveler like me.
I was extremely pleased to see that she was resourceful in taking care of what she could while assuring me that she would makes sure my other needs were met.
Tina was polite and welcoming. Reassuring and attentive. Between these two agents the service was 5 star. I was quite pleased.
In addition, room service wasn’t prompt but did clean my room thoroughly and was polite. I spoke to them in the little bit of Spanish I know and they were kind and had great attitudes. I’m pleased this far and would definitely go back.

Five stars for the staff at the front desk. They were all very pleasant. The shower had great water pressure, too. That was nice. However, the carpet in our room was SO filthy. It was also obvious it hadn’t been vacuumed prior to us checking in either. The room smelled old and dirty. The beds were probably the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever slept on in a hotel. Overall, not a great visit because of the skankiness of the room.

I love this BW Plus! I’m a frequent traveler and use BW hotels almost exclusively; especially their Plus locations. No other hotel chain provides the updates, amenities and breakfast for the same price.
I have stayed here numerous times and the staff is always friendly and accommodating even on early check-​in. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The beds are amazing! Full, hot breakfast included in the already great value.
I highly recommend this hotel and will continue to use it.

I am surprised by the low reviews on this hotel. My family and I had a wonderful experience during our stay. Making our reservation over the phone was quick and easy, our room was very clean and breakfast was more than adequate.
The young man who checked us in really made the stay for us though. He helped us get set up in the breakfast area when we came in with takeout dinner and then later helped search the same area and the lobby area when my sons stuffed bear went missing. He crawled around looking under furniture and even checked the trash for us! We chose to stay here after my in-​laws had a good experience and recommended it and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Happy Mother’s Day to all mums out there. This started as a gift to myself, yesterday it was good but last night to this morning it changed. Apparently this is the place for wedding parties, or the like. There seemed to be a party, and we heard it. This morning, for mother’s day, the hot breakfast was packed with guests, but no real food. Apparently the lady that cooks did not show up, it is mother’s day. So, have to go out and hunt breakfast/​brunch down on the restaurant mad house day of the year, which was part of the reason for the room. No bueno:(

I am beyond disappointed with this Best Western «Plus» There was nothing Plus or even standard about this place.
My bad experience started when I emailed them to do a room block for my wedding. This hotel was highly recommended by my wedding venue when I initially booked the venue in 2013. It took me finally calling the hotel to get a response. I was advised that their we’re «new owners and a lot of changes were made.» The changes were not favorable. First of all they told me that the shuttle service was no longer free and that our guest must advice them at hotel if the shuttle was needed. When they finally quoted me over the ph it took them almost a wk to email me the contract which did not reflect the prices initially told to us. When I called to discuss this (because I again did not get a prompt email response) I was told that because of SXSW prices had increased. After discussing this with the owner he finally agreed to honor the price initially quoted. The owner also agreed to let our guests check in closer to 2pm VS their normal 3pm check in so that they could make my 4pm wedding. The day of the wedding they refused and 1 of our groomsmen was late bc the shuttle was not ready for him as they had promised. If that wasn’t enough when my groom arrived to check in they would not let him check in early AND they could NOT find his reservation and made him pay for another room since he didn’t have time to wait them to search for it. They told him they would look further in to it in the morning. When the time came to check out we went down stairs to correct the issue and was advised that it was our fault for not having the confirmation info and refused to pay us back. The lady at the front desk was so rude and said she had a lot of guest and couldn’t deal with it. When we asked for the owner she was equally useless and said they couldn’t reimburse us because we didn’t cancel our initial reservation. I could not believe how little they care about customer service. She told me she was only the assistant manager and it was up to her husband and she would have him call us. Well it’s been 3 days and still no word.
I would never recommend this place. Besides my bad experience the hotel was very hot, uncomfortable beds, pillows and they had nothing prepared at the breakfast area. Such a shame.

Paper thin walls, old smell, barely functioning HVAC, and no hot water… other than that it was a great stay!

I stayed here this past weekend for a wedding in Georgetown. The building seems relatively new, the staff was courteous, the room was very clean and I slept like a baby. The king size bed was incredibly comfortable and the hotel was quiet. This Best Western is easy to find with easy access on and off of I-​35. If you are headed to Georgetown, Texas consider this Best Western as an option. It’s clean, quiet, safe and they even offer free breakfast. It seems a little strange giving five stars to a two star (or maybe three) hotel but I did enjoy my stay there and this rating is how this hotel compares to others in its category. And while I believe that there’s always room for improvement, I don’t have any complaints about my stay at this Best Western.
