Having your phone go out of commission is a stressful event, but these folks kept me calm. I have to give so much credit to the repair team at uBreakiFix in Geneva for the following: 1) keeping me updated along the way; 2) extremely quick turn around; 3) being very clear about pricing so that I could make a decision about when to fix and when to call it a day and get a new phone.
Ultimately, the fix was completely successful, done for a reasonable price, and I’m so thankful I didn’t have to go with a new phone that I didn’t want (and, as it turns out, didn’t need). They will have my repeat business.

I really like and trust these guys. They fixed some very tricky problems on my computer. Their customer service is fantastic. They followed up. Made sure I was happy and I’ll be going back
to them in the future. So glad I found this company!

Came in as a walk in with a broken phone that was 1 day old. the plasma had been damaged. They had the phone repaired within an hour, Worked perfectly. I could not have been happier with the service and the quality.

Since I was in the area I thought I’d try this place out. The repair price Total for the phone was almost $ 200. My screen does this weird ghost flickering due to the screen probably not being properly installed. This place does have a 90-​day warranty which Isn’t explained to the customer on what it even covers or if it’s free. My phone was given back with 5% battery life and very hot due to them heating it. This to me means that my phone wasn’t even tested properly for glitches or anything during the 24+ hours I let them keep it. I’m probably going to have to go back because the phone screen still flickers randomly.
Also before handing over my phone I made the mistake of not taking photos of the phone before given to them. The phone was only chipped in the right upper hand part of the screen by only less than 1 cm and the entire top portion of the screen was jarring out by less than 1 cm too. When receiving the phone back I have no idea why but they seemed to have pried the screen off and bent the crap out of the right upper portion of my phone. Then tried to bend it back into place…
The lock button was broken and had been for a while and I was fine with it but they up sold me on getting that fixed as well. They also fixed the home button for free because they said it was falling off anyway. They charged me for a battery repair because the old one was «swollen»
They try to do fast business here I think to make quick money. My advice to others is to just go to Tekkies in Bartlett. That’s where I’ve gotten quality quick phone repairs done and the prices are lower. Or just do the ifixit/​eBay/​Amazon/​YouTube it.
The customer service over all is superb though that’s one thing I can say about this place. They give professional answers. But my phone is not what I was expecting when I got it back. Just wish it worked the same not worse.

My daughter broke the volume button on her cell phone and was losing her mind… we went to T-​Mobile and they couldn’t fix it so they suggested this business. I had never been there and was honestly expecting to get gouged, I was totally wrong. The sales person, Adam, was able to fix the button in just a few minutes for no charge. I will be back for any future needs, great customer service– thank you!

When a business not just meets but exceeds my expectation, it should be acknowledged. My iPad had totally quit working and was ready to trash it but decided to take to Ubreakifix since I heard they did free diagnostics.
I dropped off at 3pm and picked up at 6pm and it was fixed like new.
Customer service was excellent. I am definitely going back to them next time I have an issue.

I’ve had an iPhone screen and my X-​box 360 fixed here. They are so professional and nice. Never try to rip you off or up-​sell you. Both times I had to come here they had great customer service and were done much faster than I expected! You guys rock!

Have had many iPhone screens repaired here. Always great customer service. Everyone is friendly and most important, honest. I never feel like they are trying to sell me something or rip me off. Job always done right the first time. Highly recommend!

Broke my screen 5 months ago and had them do the repair. 9÷28÷2015 evening I came in and the screen on my phone came lose and needed to be replaced. Even though it was only a 90 day warranty originally, they took care of it. Also both young ladies that were there have great customer service skills. Great experience

Well I walked in with an expensive gaming laptop that worked other than a loose port that needed repair. I thought I would come here because of all the positive Unilocal reviews. I waited 5 of the 7 business days they said it would take to get the part in to call them and check in. They tell me they forgot to order the part. Ok, that wouldn’t have bothered me, I am pretty easy going, but it was just the beginning of the nightmare scenario.
Three days later they call me to tell me that not only will the display not come on, but the entire thing is «beyond repair.» I was in total shock. This is a one year old machine, used only by careful adults. This laptop worked entirety fine besides a loose charging port and all of a sudden it’s broken beyond repair? We had used it just fine literally five minutes before we took it in. You can imagine how angry we were. They tried to tell us we signed off on the machine being dropped but we never said that once, so if it was on the sheet an employee must have added it. After a lengthy heated back and forth with the manager, he claimed he called the owner and there was nothing they could do. Unbelievable. So maybe they are good for phones, but just beware they may destroy a prize possession and basically tell you to get bent.

I took my daughter’s Samsung Galaxy S5 in for a problem with the camera and the cute repair guy fixed it within 5 minutes. He said that since it was such an easy fix he wasn’t even going to charge me. He was friendly and professional and I will definitely be going back for future any repairs!

This place is the best! Their service is incredible, the people are wonderful, you never feel like you just got scammed. I have had my daughter’s phone in their too many times, and I have always been extremely pleased with the service! Can’t say enough– I love this place, especially in a time where customer service really doesn’t exist much anymore, they get it!

My smart phone only needed a new battery which was a huge relief. Diagnostics was free. I was quoted $ 50 to replace it. When I went to pick it up I was told it should have been more like $ 75 but he stood by his verbal quote. Very friendly and helpful.

The screen on my phone was broken and AT&T recommended these guys. This is the best thing AT&T has done in the history of their business. Ever. Hands down.
These guys were great to speak with and talk to you like a human being not a customer they’re trying to get money from. They almost make you forget you’re in there because of how frustrated you are with your phone and AT&T.
My phone was ready to go the next day and looked beautiful. I was also relived they had a 90 guarantee policy because within a month my touch screen stopped detecting anything. I took it and and they repaired it no problem.
Besides their customer service the store front is open and welcoming. They have informative posters on the wall to amuse yourself reading if they don’t get out of the back room immediately. (if they don’t come out right away don’t worry there’s an echo while all of the announce they’ll be there in a moment)

My daughter took her iPhone 5 here after she dropped it and shattered the screen. They replaced the screen in less than an hour and even gave her a discount off of a better case. Highly recommend!

I told her you’re wrong it has a Sim card unaffected by the outer casing I just got cracked now I have to find the nearest Apple genius which is the right way to go so fuck off all you people with your independent little start up businesses that ultimately will just promote more Hackin and abuse into everything the system and your ignorance and failure to provide what you promotes is not appreciated.

Great service. But over pricing. I recommend cartage world, because if I spent 150 $ glass replacement on a iPad to be fixed at ubreakifix, it would be 60 dollars at cartage world. And it’s about a mile away from ubreakifix, and it’s on Randall.

I would definitely come back here again in the future.
Not only are their prices reasonable, but the service is great too.

LOVE THESE PEOPLE! My iPhone 5 crapped out. An hour on the phone with Verizon tech support didn’t fix it. Verizon South Elgin couldn’t help either and almost convinced me to use my «free upgrade» (as if there really IS such a thing) to invest in an iPhone 6, case, charger, screen saver, etc. Before shelling out the $ 500 I thought I’d give uBreakIFix a shot first. It took a good 45 minutes because I wanted to wait for it and they were busy. But they somehow repaired whatever was wrong. I resisted the urge to hug her. And it was only $ 15! Seriously?! They saved me several hundred dollars! Plus they’re very friendly and professional. Long live UBreakIFix! As I told the tech, I’m officially a customer for life.

I took my Ipad to Apple because it would not connect to the Internet. After four hours I was told that the antenna appeared broken when an non Apple person took the glass off. My Ipad was used so I had no idea this had happened. Apple refused to work on it any further. I went home thinking that I had to buy a new one.
The next day I saw an add for uBreakiFix! I brought it in the morning and that afternoon I was back in business. It has been perfectly ever since. Everyone was very nice and explained what happened. I will be returning there with any further problems.
