Wait time was as predicted at 45 minutes for deep dish. Small waiting area. Call ahead instead of sitting and waiting. Free thin crust samples while you wait. Yummy!

We love Lou’s Pizza! And Salad! Today we would have given 5 stars except for the delivery service. We had them deliver to us at our hotel. I tipped the delivery boy extra for bringing it to our room. But when we opened the bogs there was no plastic ware for the salad nor any napkins! Had to tip the bellman to bring us silverware. Lesson learned… Remind them to send both if it is delivery to place other than home!

I love Chicago style deep dish pizza the first thing I want when I step off a plane in the Windy City is a big slice of pizza pie. This particular trip the closest of my go to places was Lou’s. A large sausage it was. The thick bed of cheese, covered in bold sauce with big chunks of tomatoes on a crispy crusty, it was just what I wanted. We got it delivered and it showed up in under a hour. That was great considering it was snowing and the pis takes almost that long to cook, bravo.

I’ve been a fan of Lou Malnati’s for over 15 yrs. Have tried competing deep-dish from Pizano’s, Pequod’s, Uno’s, Pizzeria Due. The pizza I’ve ordered from here is the first deep-dish I’ve had where the toppings/filling didn’t extend all the way to the crust. It was an eyesore looking at the empty no man’s land edging around half the pizza. Would rather order from somewhere else :/

LOU… the love of my pizza eating life. you cannot go wrong with the best voted pizza in Chi town. Go buttercrust. Sausage is great, go pieces if you do not want the«patty». We gobback in forth, but enjoy both. I do low fat cheese, so I feel less guilty… its not fir everyone, but works for me. The thin pizza is pretty damn AHHHMAZING too. Salads… go Lou Malnatis. The creamy Lemon Garlic is very tasty. Its no wonder its voted the best… cuz ITIS.

While Lou Malnati’s has been a legendary name in Chicago pizza most of my life, I had my first taste a few weeks ago when a friend served the thin crust variety, and I thought it compared favorably with others I like. So tonight, I decided to order for myself, and reading the menu I decided to try the deep dish. Featured in the online menu was the Chicago Classic. It featured more tomatoes than the regular deep dish sauce, and sausage. It was good. I really enjoyed the sweetness provided by the extra tomato. The sausage was generously applied, though I’d prefer sausage with a little more spice. I’d order this pizza again, the 4stars is because the sausage tasted a little bland to me.

Just the best! Nothing like it. The crustless pizza(sausage patty) is pretty good also. The Lous salad with the house dressing is great. Moving here from Chicago, I was so happy when this location popped up a few years ago.

The Malnati Chicago Classic is essentially the perfect pizza. It’s got a buttery crust, delicious sausage, tons of cheese, and nice fresh tomato sauce. It’s not the thickest deep dish I’ve had and a large will feed 4. It’s a must have for me when I visit Chicago. On this trip I also got a thin crust pizza which I wasn’t a huge fan of. It’s didn’t have much sauce or flavor and could have easily been form Pizza Hut. Delivery was a little slow, I understand the deep dish pizzas take a while but it was near an hour and a half.

GLUTEN-FREE! The pizza here is great to start with but we recently tried the gluten-free and it is amazing. I will never miss regular crust again.

Lou Malnati’s is my favorite deep dish pizza chain. The food is always consistent and prices fair for deep dish. Classic buttered crust and Chicago feel. There are usually free samples when you arrive in the pizzeria as well. If it’s your first time having deep dish, I wouldn’t recommend paying for a bunch of additional toppings. Either you’ll like it plain or you won’t.

Just enjoyed a delicious deep dish pizza from Lou Malnatis! My husband and I decided to share a Cesar salad and I’m glad we did! There portions are really big and their prices are just right. 28.00 for a Cesar salad and a medium deep dish with 3 toppings. We will definitely be regulars.

Pizza is great(we order the thin crust) but there is a reason we stopped orders. The Pizza is not hot even when you are waiting for your order to come out. Mentioned this on several of my orders but nothing changed. I live one mile so the ride home is minimal. Places further away reach my house still hot. Suggest they improve In that area. If you like cool pizza that needs to be microwaved once home this is the place. Much better places in Geneva

We order from here a few times a month, love love love! Parking can be a total pain on the weekends but it is worth it. We’ve ordered a few things(pizzas, salads and pastas) and are always happy!

Didn’t realize that it wasn’t a sit-down type of place, but don’t let that deter you from getting pizza. It was my first time ever having deep dish pizza. I don’t think my stomach was ready to take on its sheer size and flavor because I couldn’t get through a full slice. Don’t get me wrong, it was really great, the size was great, my stomach’s only been introduced to Pizza Hut and California Pizza Kitchen. Ordered crushed Italian sausage on the pizza, and it was amazing. Absolutely amazing, and I don’t think I’m ever going back to pan pizza. I’m a big fan of cheese, and they definitely delivered.

When in Rome, do as the Romans do right? I was in Chicago for work and decided I had to try some deep-dish and cross it off my food bucket-list. My group of 6 decided to order a large classic and medium pepperoni. I don’t know what we were thinking because that was enough food to feed a village. Pretty poor estimating on our part as deep dish is heavy and we got full quickly after a slice… While the pie was okay, and I got the deep-dish experience of using a fork and knife to eat it, it was not extremely memorable in taste. I think I’ve had better deep dish back at home at Patxi’s. Sorry Lou’s, my socks are not knocked off.

This place rocks and the pizza is the best around. The butter crust is amazing and their pizza does not taste like I’m licking salt. Other pizza joints around the area just taste like I’m eating salt flavored pizza and my tongue actually burns from some of those. The reason why I knocked off a star is because I always order my pizzas done well so that the cheese is browned and they rarely ever get it right even though I always explain exactly how I would like it. Hopefully one day they will get it right and I will amend my review to 5 stars. I know they deserve it other than that one small issue.

My favorite deep dish pizza around. We had a cheese and a Chicago classic take home and they were just as expected. Our neighbor’s Italian and when their little girl heard we brought home deep dish pizza she called home and said she was eating at our place. This is a not a sit down Lou Malnati’s.
