My son has been taking piano lessons here for a year now. The teacher and the management have been wonderful, very accommodating. If we have to miss a lesson, they will reschedule it at no charge. They also do not have contracts — it’s a month to month deal. The quality of the teaching is excellent and the pricing, in my opinion, quite fair. The only reason they don’t get five stars is that the piano room, downstairs, is quite old(it is in an historic building) and you can hear all the lessons(piano and voice) reverberating off the wall simultaneously. Also it appears that some of the pianos might be past their prime. Overall, though, a great place — highly recommended

I like this place for gifts, but not for supplies. You can find better music supplies online. But there’s a gift for every musician in this store. They even have those kitschy neckties here with the piano keyboard on them.

I’ve been taking music lessons here for two months and have enjoyed it a lot. The manager was really understanding when I had to switch my lesson days and then switch my lesson times on a couple occasions… just make sure you talk to them with enough time in advance and it should not be a problem. They have a lot of cool instruments to look at although they are stringent about their«no touching» policy, which is probably due to there being lots of little kiddies that take lessons in the place… kids + expensive items= disastrous results. Besides the guitars and other instruments, they have various musical paraphernalia(like, anything you can imagine covered in music notes) and sheet music. Sweet!

Looks great from the outside — very appealling. Having a musician in the family, decided to stop in and look.(You never know when you will find a treasure!) Good store for finding gifts for musically inclined people.(Wish I had found this before Christmas — could definately have picked up a few stocking stuffers.) Merchandising could be improved, but it’s ok. They appear to focus on entry level music — for example — school orchestra instruments, young players, music lesson students. Limited selection of instruments, and signs that say one should not touch them.(Personally, while I understand the struggle a music store must have with people coming in and handling the merchandise… I also struggle with this type of sign — turns me off.) If I lived there, and was starting out, might go here. Probably not on our list for the next instrument upgrade. Probably is on our list for Christmas shopping stops, simply due to gift side of the store. Would I recommend: If someone asked about the store, I’d give them the thoughts above. I probably would not think to recommend — just wouldn’t come to mind. Would I return: Yes, for music themed stocking stuffers — light switches, book ends, jewellery, bags etc.

If you know someone who likes music, take them here. You want a music note sweatshirt? Tote bag? Candle? Snow globe? Etc x 500. It was very cute.
